A day trip to South Sea Island is an easy 30 minute ferry ride from Port Denarau with South Sea Cruises. The close location to Denarau means that you can make the most of the day lazing on the beach, snorkelling, diving, and enjoying the myriad of activities on offer. It may be small in size, but there is plenty to keep you entertained. The hardest part is choosing what to do first! There is a salt water swimming pool and non-motorised water sports equipment available free of charge, including kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkelling. ISLAND & VESSEL CHARTER OPTIONS •
Exclusive Use Full Day Trip - have South Sea Island all to yourselves for a full day trip for up to 8 hours.
Regardless of the group or charter option you choose, a BBQ and salad buffet lunch is included along with complimentary soft drinks, filtered water, selected house wine, and local beer while on the island. Options are available to customise your day for full island charters.

Shared Use Vessel & Island Trip - travel on one of our scheduled vessel transfers with your group of up to 99 people and join our full or half day trip. Groups of 100 or more people must take the island exclusively.

BOOKING CONDITIONS & GENERAL INFORMATION 1. GENERAL •
South Sea Island is operated by South Sea Cruises. All references to either are all references to South Sea Cruises Pte Ltd.

All rates quoted are in Fijian Dollars and include all applicable government taxes.
•
If any amendments are made by the Fiji Government to the VAT (and/or the addition of any new taxes) during this contract period, South Sea Cruises reserves the right to reissue the Rate Agreement in line with official government policy to reflect any such changes. South Sea Cruises reserves the right to apply a fuel surcharge in the event of any increase in fuel costs prior to the commencement of travel. Any such surcharge will be advised to the Client in writing as soon as practicable following the increase and will be payable in addition to the booking fee.
and to the extent such failure or delay is caused by or results from circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the affected party, including but not limited to: acts of God, fire, flood, earthquake, storm, cyclone, hurricane, explosion, pandemic, epidemic, government order or regulation, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, industrial dispute, labour shortage, or any other event beyond the parties’ reasonable control.
a change of date only with a similar value booking still being held then South Sea Cruises may, at its discretion, waive the amendment fees if South Sea Cruises has the ability to sell the vacated date. •
Payments made by international debit / credit card are subject to a non-refundable 2.5-3% admin fee.
5. CANCELLATIONS •
All cancellations must be in writing to South Sea Cruises Pte Ltd and the timing shall be based on the day of receipt of such notification by South Sea Cruises Pte Ltd. Cancellation terms are as follows;

The affected party shall notify promptly the other in writing of becoming aware of such event and shall use all reasonable efforts to mitigate its effects.
•
If a Force Majeure event prevents or substantially hinders the performance of the event:
Outside 60 days - Forfeit of deposit (unless transferring date).
a) Both parties shall, in good faith, agree on an alternative date for the event within twelve (12) months of the original date, subject to availability.
- 0 to 30 days - Forfeit 100% of applicable booking.
b) If rescheduling is not possible, South Sea Cruises may, at its discretion, either:
- 31 to 60 days - Forfeit 60% of applicable booking. Any refunds issued under this Agreement will be processed using the applicable currency exchange rate on the date the refund is made. The Client acknowledges and agrees that, due to fluctuations in exchange rates and any applicable bank or transaction fees, the refunded amount received may differ from the original amount paid. The Company shall not be held liable for any such variations in refunded amounts resulting from currency exchange movements or financial institution charges.

All quotes are valid for 30 days and are subject to availability at time of booking / confirmation.
•
All quotes are from / to Port Denarau. Quotes to / from other destinations can be provided upon request.
•
Ground transfers are not included in the rates provided. Ground transfers can be quoted separately.

South Sea Island is a family friendly cruise option.
3. WATERSPORTS ACTIVITIES
6. RATE VALIDITY
•
All services are subject to weather and sea conditions and are subject to alteration and / or cancellation as deemed necessary by South Sea Cruises.
•
Customers are required to follow all operating guidelines and safety procedures issued by the South Sea Cruises staff / crew whether they be issued verbally or in writing.
•

All customers must have a valid travel insurance policy in place before travelling to South Sea Island.
•

Any customers with allergies to food or otherwise must notify the South Sea Cruises customer services and / or sales team at least 7 days prior to the event date.
Customers will be held responsible for all costs of any damage caused to equipment and/or property owned by South Sea Cruises or third parties through misuse or carelessness.
Rates are valid for travel until 31 March 2027. Rates for travel beyond these dates are subject to a 5% increase until such time as South Sea Cruises issues confirmed rates for the following April - March period.

South Sea Cruises reserves the right to alter prices, add a fuel surcharge, cancel departure or arrange alternative transport other than that advertised /confirmed.
•
Deposit - Upon receiving a confirmed booking a nonrefundable deposit amounting to 25% of the total booking is due for payment within 14 days of invoice.

Payment - Full payment is required 60 days prior to the travel or event date. Bookings made within 60 days of travel must be paid in full to South Seas Cruises Pte Ltd at the time of confirmation unless the booking agent has an approved credit account with South Seas Cruises Pte Ltd.
Due to the volatility of global fuel prices, the South Sea Cruises reserves the right to apply a fuel surcharge to vessel transfers and/or related services under this Agreement. Any such surcharge will only be applied in the event of a material increase in fuel costs between the date of this Agreement and the event date. The surcharge, if applicable, will be advised to the Customer in writing promptly following any relevant increase in fuel costs and will be payable as part of the final balance. South Sea Cruises agrees to act reasonably and provide supporting justification for any surcharge applied.
- Provide a full credit of all payments made to be used within twelve (12) months; or - Provide a refund of amounts paid, less any nonrecoverable costs reasonably incurred by South Sea Cruises in preparation for the event.
4. PAYMENT TERMS

Neither party shall be held liable or responsible to the other, nor be deemed to have defaulted under or breached this Agreement, for any failure or delay in fulfilling or performing any term of this Agreement when
