Discover Fiji’s vibrant marine environment with insights from a Marine Biologist. Enjoy stunning views during a scenic cruise to and from this breathtaking island.

Kuata Island located in the southern Yasawa Islands, is known for its friendly hospitality, superb location, and warm waters.

On arrival, you will be introduced to your Marine Biologist. The day starts with a presentation providing an overview of the Marine Sanctuary surrounding the island. Your day trip also includes a guided snorkel with a Marine Biologist around the spectacular coral and low tide gardens, participation in coral planting, mangrove planting, or coral predator removal, and low tide exploration of the intertidal zone, home to some of the ocean’s weirdest creatures!

FIJI ISLAND CULTURAL EXPERIENCE

A Journey into Fiji’s Living History! Cruise to Kuata Island in the Yasawas and explore the deep-rooted traditions and stories of Fijian culture—many still practiced today.

Be welcomed with a traditional greeting and kava ceremony, then visit a historically significant cave once used in tribal times. Discover Fiji’s living heritage at the cultural centre, followed by a traditional meke dance, a craft workshop, and a medicinal plant tour. Learn ancient culinary methods during a Fijian cooking demonstration, then snorkel Kuata Island’s vibrant coral gardens. This immersive day ends with a traditional farewell, leaving you with a deeper understanding of Fiji’s proud culture.
