We’re especially excited about the continued transformation of our campus. The newly renovated Fisher Family Science Wing and Wanink Art Wing have created even more opportunities for hands-on learning, creativity, and collaboration for our students. Over the summer of 2026, we also continued updating campus spaces with improvements to classrooms and hallways, including new windows, paint, HVAC, and additional safety enhancements.

At Marian, faith isn’t confined to the textbooks - it’s a way of life. Rooted in Catholic tradition and guided by the IHM Sisters, Marian’s faith formation program helps students grow in their personal relationship with God, explore their spiritual identity, and live out their faith through service, prayer, and community.
FAITH IN ACTION
Students deepen their faith through monthly allschool Masses, optional weekly Mass, daily prayer, Bible study groups, and Advent and Lenten reconciliation.
RETREATS & SERVICE/IMMERSION TRIPS
Each grade participates in a retreat designed to help students deepen their relationship with God, self, and others. Opportunities are available for service immersion trips to Central America.
MARIAN ACTS OF CHRISTIAN SERVICE
All students complete annual MACS service hours volunteering at local nonprofits, churches, schools, and outreach organizations.
THEOLOGY CURRICULUM
Students enroll in four years of theology courses, exploring Catholic teaching, scripture, morality, and social justice through interactive, discussionbased classes that connect faith to daily life.

PERFORMING ARTS
Marian Performing Arts inspires students to build confidence, creativity, and communication skills through the power of live performance. With opportunities in dramatic theatre, musical theatre, concert choir, and small ensemble singing, Marian encourages students to step into the spotlight - both onstage and in life - while developing their talents in a supportive, faith-filled environment. Students can participate in co-ed courses in performing arts through Marian’s partnership with Brother Rice High School, expanding opportunities for ensemble performances. Students enrolled in Marian Melodies or Marian Rice Concert Choir participate annually in the Michigan School Vocal Music Association Festival, often achieving top rankings and advancing to the state level.
THEATER
Marian produces two major theatre productions each year. Students can participate in various aspects of theatre production, including acting, stage crew, and set design.
FINE ARTS
CHOIR
From advanced offerings such as The Marian Melodies to the allinclusive Liturgical Choir, students of all experience levels have the opportunity to find their voice and share their gifts.
INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC
Taught at Brother Rice, course offerings include beginning piano, beginning and intermediate concert ensembles, jazz band, guitar (I & II), and drumline.
Marian Fine Arts is dedicated to cultivating students’ artistic abilities, providing a platform for creative expression, and preparing them for future endeavors in the arts. With a blend of rigorous coursework, hands-on opportunities, and state-of-the-art facilities, Marian empowers students to explore and develop their artistic passion. Students can enroll in a variety of art classes, including drawing & painting, pottery, and digital design. Outside the classroom, the National Art Honor Society supports students in their efforts to attain the highest standards in art scholarship, character, and service, and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community.

Marian is committed to providing significant tuition assistance to qualifying families, with tuition assistance awards ranging from $500 to $12,500.
Typical Marian tuition assistance awards are based on total family income. Actual awards take into account many factors including family size and family income as indicated by FACTS Financial Aid (including all income sources, not solely W-2 income). Awards may be higher or lower than the range above, depending on individual circumstances.

Marian sponsors multiple scholarships awarded to incoming freshmen at the time of admission. Scholarships may be awarded only to students who submit their application materials on time. Students applying for admission after the December 10 deadline may not be eligible for scholarships.
ACADEMIC MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS
Marian automatically offers Merit Scholarships (no application required) to on-time applicants for 9th grade based on the November or December test dates of the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Students applying for admission after the December 10 deadline are not eligible for merit scholarships.
