The area of the Crete Senesi is a delicate and precise ecosystem, deeply artificial and, at the same time, it is strongly connected to the rhythms of the landscape. Every accomplished actions on the ground it is the result of centuries of knowledge and traditions, that are able to respect and domesticate this fascinating place.
This is the incipit of a join participation experience in a dialog between the humankind and the nature; the start point of a research and an experimentation on the place, the materials and the shapes.
In front of Serre di Rapolano stands out an ex brickyard of the XX century. Of the past glory remains only the memory and a bricks shell that by now contains only ruins. From here, it begins a research of a space for people to use, a place where to stay, a place of health, a place of life: a rehabilitation clinic.
A new purpose than can be achieved only by manipulating the land’s foundations: stone, clay and water.
