Do you ever think how bizarre it is, that if there is a God, that human beings have so much freedom on this planet to do whatever we want? Do you ever long for a God who would solve all our personal problems and be our friend? Someone we could reach out to and get real help? We do seem to be in charge on planet earth and so isn‟t it reasonable to ask where God is in all of this, or even to ask whether there is a God? Has God given us too much freedom? What do you think? This is the 4th of July when we celebrate freedom in America There is a joke about a prisoner who escaped from jail. The judge asked him “Why did you break free from prison?” The fugitive replied; “Your honor I wanted to get married.”
