Reading Jürgen Moltmann in Asia: Trinitarian Theology of Suffering in Christian and Buddhist Dialectical Dialogue
Abstract Jürgen Moltmann is one of the world’s foremost and creative theologians today. He is probably best known for his interpretation of a theology of the cross or suffering from a trinitarian passibility, reconciling, and liberating perspective. His theology of suffering, however, is not widely engaged from the Asian interreligious perspectives of Christians and Buddhists who have convergent and divergent concepts of suffering.
