This statewide honor recognizes professionals who demonstrate exceptional dedication, compassion, and professionalism in service to older adults. JOIN US FOR OUR UPCOMING EVENTS JANUARY 22ND | 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: A Celebration of Craft with Ideal Cheese Shop - Join us for an intimate cheese and wine tasting led by a new cheesemonger, presented in collaboration with Ideal Cheese Shop—a beloved neighborhood institution with more than 60 years of artisanal tradition. JANUARY 23RD | 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM: Live Jazz with the Nicholas Di Maria Trio - Enjoy an afternoon of live jazz at the SkyPark as the Nicholas Di Maria Jazz Trio brings its signature sound to the community, offering an engaging performance that blends musical artistry with relaxed, social ambiance. JANUARY 24TH | 4:15 PM - 5:15 PM: Music Above the City with Juilliard Students - Guests are invited to enjoy a live performance by talented students from Juilliard School, who will bring classical artistry and youthful energy to the SkyPark for an uplifting and memorable musical experience. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS The Legacy Project: Preserving Stories, Connecting Generations - The first phase of The Legacy Project at Inspīr Carnegie Hill is now complete, with resident interviews successfully concluded in partnership with local students from Hunter College and NYU. These conversations captured the experiences and personal histories that define our community. Students are now transforming those interviews into written stories. This spring, the finished narratives and Legacy Book will be presented, celebrating the power of intergenerational connection and the importance of preserving each individual’s life story. Celebrating the Holiday Season The holidays at Inspīr Carnegie Hill were filled with festive experiences, including a citywide sightseeing tour of New York’s iconic holiday lights and a series of live musical performances within the community. Together, these moments brought the spirit of the season to life, combining culture, connection, and the joy of shared experiences. A Moment of Tea and Conversation Afternoon Tea has become a simple and enjoyable way for residents to connect over shared experiences. Featuring a rotating selection of teas alongside classic tea sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and desserts, this new addition offers opportunity to slow down, share conversation, and get to know neighbors better. The Oceana Experience - Residents continue to explore the city through cultural outings like Lincoln Center Moments, visits to the Intrepid Museum, and Meet Me at MoMA, creating opportunities for connection and discovery. Within our community, the new Sensory and Social Engagement program offers one-to-one sessions four times a week in our dedicated Sensory Lounge. Gentle movement, storytelling, and reminiscence support comfort, presence, and personal connection, helping residents stay engaged, connected, and inspired while reflecting Oceana’s thoughtful, personalized approach to memory care.
INTRODUCING SAFELY CONNECTED FOR ASSISTED LIVING Safety and independence are thoughtfully integrated into everyday life at Inspīr. Safely Connected brings together advanced, AI-powered fall-detection technology from SafelyYou with Inspīr’s personalized, relationship-driven approach to care—supporting a lifestyle defined by confidence, discretion, and peace of mind for both residents and families. Following the proven success of SafelyYou’s technology within Inspīr’s memory support neighborhoods, this innovation is now being expanded to serve the broader Inspīr community. Additional details will be shared soon as Safely Connected is introduced across Inspīr communities.
YOUR VOICE MATTERS! At Inspīr, progress is guided by listening. In February, the team will be inviting feedback through a brief, confidential 5–10 minute conversation designed to gather perspectives and lived experiences. These insights play an essential role in refining what works well and identifying opportunities to further elevate daily life at Inspīr.
