Manta has been creating boards since 1985 – the Ocean and the symbolic form and beauty of the Manta Ray have driven us from the start. Manta created bodyboarding in Australia. We continue to combine templates and materials plus a touch of form to deliver high performing boards.

Manta encourages everyone to get involved with ranges form entry level EPS core boards through mid level PE cores to top end PP core performance boards such as the ForceXX and Black Concept. We love them all. We have a great catalogue of templates which we delve into and innovate with to create ranges that just work depending only on your level and needs.

The Manta ranges offer the Black concept and ForceXX (PP superior cores; lightweights, flexible in all conditions, the best recoil); ProXT, Phantom and Drive (PE performance mid level cores with flex and strong recoil properties); Sabre45, Viper (EPS hi-performance cores; lightweight, stiffer best entry level); Sonic, Alien towable, Dart mini’s (EPS starter boards).

We match these with our unique rubber swimfins made from proprietary moulds; floating, the most comfortable foot pockets around with great propulsion in the front blade sections. They offer distinctive bodyboard swimfin functionality ; Blade, Clone, 4fit (dual directional).

Throughout our existence we’ve led the Softboard market in refining and developing Softboards through the Elnino ranges. Our templates are proprietary and use the best materials available. We’ve always focused on delivering quality high performance boards using the latest technology in Softboards. We know the best stringers, fins and materials to use – they just work.

And offering great value is a core Elnino commitment.

Elnino softboards cover traditional carving templates (Cobra 6’0/7’0) and the fuller mal shapes (Cruiser 5’8 fish/6’6/7’0/7’6/8’0).

The Cobra range delivers for both performance oriented suffers and entry level smaller riders – a beautiful sharp nosed board with a perfect curving shape pulling through to a tighter square rear section. Using our proprietary moulds.

Cruisers run from 5’8 through to 8’0” and are designed to work in all conditions. Size will depend on your experience and needs. These are proven balanced templates developed by Elnino.

For all riders – this shape with aggressive sharper nose and well crafted body curves back to a tighter square tail. Plenty of volume in both sizes depending on your needs. Performance oriented riders will love this carving template but it also works for smaller and younger entry level riders.
