When it comes to plumbing and heating, most homeowners only think about it when something goes wrong. A boiler stops working on a cold morning, a dripping tap becomes a leak, or a blocked drain starts causing problems in the kitchen. In those moments, what people want most is a reliable engineer, clear advice, and a service that feels straightforward from the first call.

Rightio Plumbing & Heating supports households across Liverpool with a wide range of plumbing and heating services. Whether it is a boiler breakdown, a boiler service, a leaking pipe, or a blocked waste, our aim is to get things back to normal quickly and professionally. We also help with radiators and pipework, toilets and taps, showers, general plumbing repairs, and clearing blockages. Where required, our team can also support with boiler installations and replacements, helping you choose the right solution for your home.

A common concern for homeowners is not knowing what will happen next, especially when you are trying to manage a busy household or keep costs under control That is why our approach focuses on good communication and a smooth customer journey. From the moment you contact us, our team will ask the right questions, arrange an appointment, and keep you updated. If further work is needed, we explain the options clearly, so you know what to expect and can make an informed decision before any work goes ahead. We know that many issues can be avoided with early intervention and simple maintenance. Regular boiler servicing helps spot potential faults before they turn into breakdowns, and addressing small leaks early can prevent damage to floors, ceilings, and cupboards. If your heating is not performing as it should, radiators have cold spots, or your boiler pressure keeps dropping, it is worth getting it checked sooner rather than later.

Rightio is proud to serve communities across Liverpool including Liverpool City Centre, Woolton, Allerton, Aigburth, Childwall, Crosby, and surrounding areas. We understand how important it is to have a trusted local option when you need help, especially during busy periods and colder months. We also offer an OAP discount, and all you need to do is mention this at the time of booking. If you need plumbing or heating support, you can speak to our friendly team to book an appointment or discuss your issue. Call 0151 676 0566 and we will be happy to help

STOP KISSING FROGS

Ladies, who hasn't heard the fairy tale pep talk: "You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince"? It's cute, right? Like a rom-com montage of awkward dates leading to Mr Perfect. But as a male coach working with women, I've got a cheeky twist: "Kiss too many frogs and you'll end up with one!" No, I'm not being snobbish. It's a wake-up call. If we drop our standards and keep settling for mismatches, one of those slimy amphibians might just hop into our lives as the "prince" by default. And let's be real: do we want that?

The classic narrative has flaws. It assumes kissing frogs is harmless practice, but what if it dulls our instincts? Keep entertaining toxic types, the charming but unreliable bad boy, or the exciting but self-centred gal, and you start normalising them.

This overindulgence in "frogs" can erode our selfworth. Each mismatched date chips away at confidence, making us question if we're worthy of better. We start believing the fairy tale lie that quantity leads to quality, but it often just leads to exhaustion. In my coaching, I've seen women who kiss frog after frog, only to settle for one because they're tired of the hunt. But settling isn't the happy ending; it's a compromise that breeds resentment. In today's world, media glamorises these frogs: brooding rebels in films like Fifty Shades of Grey, or the reformed greaser in Grease, making toxicity look romantic. We chase superficial sparks, looks and thrill, over substance, leading to resentmentfilled relationships.

Reset through selfdiscovery. Understand your energy: leader craving adoration, sharer needing balance, or supporter thriving in uplifting others. This awareness helps spot frogs early and recognise a partner who complements your imperfections, creating mutual gratitude and growth. So, ditch the frog hunt. Reset your standards, aim for what you deserve, and the prince, no crown needed, will appear. Woolton Picture House, Liverpool's oldest surviving cinema, restoration fund now stands at £275,000 - with aims to reach £450,000

Inspired by the overwhelming community support and bolstered by the generous donation of a new heating system and the loan of a professional projector, the campaign team has announced a bold new strategy. The goal is now to raise £450,000 by May 8th to officially purchase the building. Once the cinema is in community hands, the team will continue to raise the remaining funds to reach the final £700,000 restoration target.

Kevin Fearon, one of the driving forces behind the campaign, believes the recent screenings have proven exactly why the building must be saved. "People have proved that they want to use this beautiful building, they want to come and see films here," he said."

From our surveys, we know that they want to do other things such as communityfocused events like coffee mornings, yoga, and Pilates. They want a place for people to come to within the community that isn't a restaurant or a bar."

The vision for the Picture House is evolving into a true community hub, but the clock is ticking. To mark the home stretch, the cinema is launching its most ambitious screening series yet: "The Final Countdown."

While the secret lineup is currently being finalized, the team promises a blockbuster selection of films that celebrate the spirit of cinema.

“The support from the community has been so great that we know we can reach this higher target with just a bit more time," he added.

With a firm campaign end date of May 8th, the message to the public is clear: this is the moment to help the Picture House cross the finish line Whether through buying a ticket or making a donation, every penny now goes toward the historic milestone of community ownership.

Tickets for the final series will go on sale on Saturday 7th March and will be available via the Woolton Picture House campaign website. To purchase tickets online head to www.wooltoncinema. com/tickets.
