Award-winning journalist from Liverpool fighting prejudice and discrimination towards the disabled.

After gaining adequate experience in this area, I decided to form my own company called Prabhu Ventures Ltd and focus on producing similar stories surrounding disability, equality and diversity issues. I have gained substantial experience in journalism through my own company and this has led me to win several awards including the Freelance Journalist Of The Year award for the past six years.
There are many misconceptions that the public has about disability. These include thinking that all disabilities are visible although according to the latest statistics, there are an estimated 70-85% of disabled people having hidden disabilities. This can include people who experience symptoms such as chronic pain, neurodivergence, autism, and mental health issues significantly impact day-to-day life but do not feature obvious outward physical signs. It can also include people who are partially sighted who have learned to adapt their lives to living with their disability

There are also beliefs that disabled people are overestimating financial support.
I ensure that the voices of disabled people remain central to the stories I produce as I have a lot of experience working along side disabled people. This helps me to empathise with the issues they face and know what elements are important. It also helps me to remain objective and look at both sides when producing the stories I publish.
I am looking for people with the following stories to share:
A disabled entrepreneur running a successful business.
Someone who started travelling solo after becoming disabled.
A disabled athlete training for a competition.
A parent living with a disability.

The realities of dating and relationships with a disability. Invisible disabilities and how they affect everyday life
Young disabled people navigating university or their first job.
Disabled content creators using social media to challenge stereotypes.
People who acquired a disability later in life and had to reinvent themselves.
Assistive technology that has transformed someone's independence.
Fashion, beauty, and disability –adaptive clothing, confidence, and representation
Disabled people pursuing unusual hobbies such as scuba diving, sailing, painting, or performing arts.

Vernon Kay said: “The 90s was one of the best loved decades when it came to music. Britpop and dance music came together to create an energy that the youth of its time attached itself to and created mayhem on the dance floors.

Now more than 30 years on, Britpop is still as energetic as it was and dance music has come full circle, with kids today hearing samples from the tunes that originally rocked dance floors back in the 1990s. 2 Oct 2026
