Hyderabad Moves Towards Smart Mobility
Hyderabad is taking a major step toward futuristic urban transportation. The Telangana Government has officially moved the Pod Taxi (Personal Rapid Transit – PRT) project into the active planning and feasibility stage
After taking over the project from L&T, authorities have begun detailed technical and financial evaluations. The objective is to introduce an advanced, driverless transport system that operates independently of road traffic
The proposed Pod Taxi system is expected to reduce congestion in high-density corridors such as:

● Airport Connectivity Routes

What is a Pod Taxi (PRT)?

Pod Taxi, also known as Personal Rapid Transit (PRT), is a driverless, autonomous transportation system.
Unlike metro trains with large coaches, Pod Taxi uses small capsule-like vehicles that carry 4–6 passengers
