MICROCHIP REUNITES PUSS WITH OWNERS
The ReUse shop situated at the Resource Recovery Park on Burnham School Road is all set to open on Saturday, March 1 from 9am to 4.30pm. The shop will be open five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. ReUse is all about saving unwanted items, that can still be used, from the landfill. People can drop items off seven days a week between 9am and 4.30pm at the shop

The staff at Rolleston Veterinary Services were pleased to help reunite a lost cat called Pheobe with her owners by scanning her microchip. The plucky puss is said to have escaped in Kaikoura while in transit to Blenheim and was recently found by a concerned resident in the Ellesmere Junction Road area. Her owners, who recently moved to Blenheim, are thrilled that Pheobe has been found and are looking forward to having her in their new home.
