Darfield Primary School officially opened its new bike track on Friday, July 3, with a short ceremony that included a ribboncutting, the first rides by a select group of students and Principal Meredith Devonald, and a free sausage sizzle. The new track will also provide students with a walking and running surface during wetter months when the school fields are too wet to use. Outside of school hours, the track will also be open for the wider community to enjoy.
