EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG DANCER Ballet dancer and Malvern Ballet School teacher Lisalotte Polderman-Charles has been accepted by the BalletCollective Aotearoa for their new project and is dancing in Wellington for the next couple of months. The BalletCollective is a new project-based contemporary ballet company, made up of some of New Zealand’s leading professional ballet dancers, exciting young graduates, and student dancers seconded from the New Zealand School of Dance. Lisalotte is the youngest dancer to be accepted to date and is excited to be working amongst such talented individuals, directed by Turid Reivfiem. She says she is proud of her achievement and cannot wait to perform with some outstanding dancers. After her contract ends, she will fly overseas for auditions. Her dream job is to dance for the Royal New Zealand Ballet or the Staats Ballet in Berlin. Continued on page 3…..
