was promoted to the Premier 1 Grade after finishing the first round on top of Premier 2. This team will now play on a Thursday at Rolleston for the remainderof the season. Malvern B, who play on a Saturday, were also promoted up to 2nd Grade after winning the first round in 3rd Grade by three points. Also playing on a Thursday night are the two Masters Teams, made up of players that are over twenty five years old and enjoy playing fast, competitive netball without the need to train.

These Malvern players are eligible to trial for Selwyn Netball Representative Teams. Kayla Holland from Malvern A was selected in the Selwyn U16 team and Malvern A teammate, Jamie van Keulen was selected for the U18 team. Rachel McKenzie from Malvern B was picked in the U16B team. Congratulations goes to the above players as well as other local netballers, that play for other Clubs, that were selected for Selwyn Rep Teams. Continued on page 12…..
