TRUSSVILLE, Ala. – Trussville’s Whataburger location at 5931 Trussville Crossings Parkway closed its doors for good last week. The fast food chain shut down its Trussville location on Monday, May 6. Those still looking to satisfy their spicy ketchup craving can go to the closest Whataburger locations in Leeds and in Fultondale.

CENTER POINT, Ala. – A 14-year-old boy was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound Sunday night in Center Point, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. At approximately 10:08 p.m. on May 12, deputies responded to the 2400 block of 5th Street NW in Center Point on a report of a person shot.

TRUSSVILLE, Ala. – A woman has been charged with attempted murder and first degree robbery after police found a man with multiple stab wounds at Trussville’s Quality Inn Tuesday night, according to TPD Lt. Clint Riner. At approximately 8:18 p.m. on May 7, the Trussville Police Department responded to a 911 call at the

Quality Inn located at 4730 Norrell Drive. Officers arrived on scene and found a black female with bloody clothes in the hotel lobby. Police then investigated the room where the incident took place and found a black male suffering from

multiple stab wounds. Trussville Fire & Rescue treated and transported both people involved in the altercation to area hospitals. After collecting evidence and presenting it to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s office,
