Benefitting Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic’s Operation Dream Maker Fund. Make-A-Wish Golf Classic is held in northern Virginia.
The Baltimore Wish Fund directly supports wish kids living in Baltimore City and the Baltimore metro area, encompassing Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford and Howard counties.
The Operation Dream Maker fund gives hope and joy to the children of our nation’s heroes. It provides wishes to kids with critical illnesses whose parents and guardians serve or have served in the military.
In the past five years, Make-A-Wish MidAtlantic has granted over 500 wishes to children in the Baltimore area.
On average, we grant 20 wishes annually to kids whose parents or guardians are serving or have served in the military.
The Baltimore area makes up 30% of all wishes granted in the Mid-Atlantic during this timeframe.
96% of parents say the wish experience strengthened their family.
