Balloons & Beyond has been operating in Central Florida since 1998 under the leadership of Bob Carlton, a pilot with more than 40 years of experience. His background includes flying hot-air balloons around the world — in places like Australia, New Zealand, the U.K., France, Switzerland, Mexico, and Canada — which gives the company a strong level of expertise and credibility.
Bob also spent time flying professionally for Walt Disney World, including piloting the iconic Mickey and Minnie hot-air balloons. For over two decades, Balloons & Beyond has built a reputation for safe, high-quality, and memorable sunrise flights, offering guests a personalized and trustworthy ballooning experience.

Once we unload the equipment, guests are invited to join the crew in the inflation process, which is often one of the most exciting and interactive parts of the morning.

The flight itself typically lasts 45 to 60 minutes, drifting peacefully over lakes, forests, and neighborhoods as the region wakes up below. After landing, we celebrate the successful flight with a champagne or orange juice toast — a tradition in ballooning. From arrival to farewell, the full experience takes roughly 3 to 3½ hours, making it both immersive and manageable for any morning schedule.
We offer a variety of flight options to meet different occasions and budgets. Our shared flights are the most popular and pair small groups together for a social sunrise experience. For anniversaries, engagements, or high-privacy experiences, we offer private flights where the basket is reserved exclusively for your group. We also provide custom flights for corporate events and brand activations.
Pricing varies based on season, group size, and customization. All packages include pilot expertise, flight time, insurance, transportation back to launch point, and the post-flight toast. These are all-inclusive — there are no surprise fees. Our goal is to make premium ballooning both accessible and clear so guests know exactly what they are investing in.
Safety is at the core of our operation. All flights are conducted by FAA-licensed commercial balloon pilots with thousands of combined flight hours. We fly only when weather conditions meet regulated safety standards and we use rigorously maintained, certified aircraft. Every launch includes a detailed pre-flight inspection, real-time weather review, and clear passenger briefing so guests know what to expect.
