The amiable president of Fight Team Impact and organiser of Fight Fever is a familiar face on the martial arts and night life circuit.

W

ith his powerful build, Jason Gensous is not an easy man to miss. But even he is surprised when he is asked when travelling abroad whether he is the Jason who organises Fight Fever in Luxembourg city. “I was in the south of France visiting my father and was introduced to some people, and one of them knew all about me from Fight Fever,” he says.

Le sympathique président de Fight Team Impact, organisateur de Fight Fever, est bien connu dans le milieu des arts martiaux et de la vie nocturne.

The martial arts events he organises in Luxembourg city once or twice a year draw crowds of 1,000 spectators and a host of international combatants. “The atmosphere is special,” says Jason who himself has fought Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at a high level in international tournaments in Germany, Belgium and even Abu Dhabi.

vec sa carrure, Jason Gensous ne passe pas inaperçu. Mais il est toujours surpris quand, à l’étranger, des adeptes d’arts martiaux l’accostent pour lui demander s’il est bien le Jason, l’organisateur de Fight Fever à Luxembourg. « En visite chez mon père, dans le sud de la France, j’ai rencontré plusieurs personnes, et l’une d’elles connaissait tout mon parcours grâce à Fight Fever. »

L’événement d’arts martiaux qu’il organise une ou deux fois l’an à Luxembourg attire un millier de spectateurs et une belle brochette de combattants internationaux. « L’ambiance est vraiment spéciale », explique Jason, qui a lui-même pratiqué le jiu-jitsu brésilien en compétition internationale à très haut niveau en Allemagne, en Belgique et à Abu Dhabi.
