My higher folio was a still life of fantastic mr fox where I arranged many items familiar from the movie and used loads of different kinds of materials, mainly oil pastel.

For my higher design folio I created a book cover for the movie ‘Pulp Fiction’ which allowed me to mess around with digital art. I had created my drawings digitally but then make loads of different arrangements.

For my Nat 5 design folio is created a simpsons 70s style wallpaper for the simpsons headquarters. This again allowed me to trial using digital techniques on apps such as ProCreate.

For my advanced folio I have planned to create a space beside the larbert pond that has been created to improve the areas mental health. The shape of the structure has been taken from shapes of flowers surrounding the pond.

This project allowed me and others to create my own brief based on a open brief given to me at the beginning. We were asked to turn this house into a space that would benefit everyone in the surrounding community. We went and visited the house and took measurements etc. These are examples of the existing building without changes. I have shown the exterior as well as the interior through mono prints.

My idea for the project was to turn the space into a mental health space that could be a space for anyone who needs help and can speak directly to a professional.
My reason behind my idea was to tackle the waiting lists in the NHS as most people suffering from mental health issues might need urgent help.

As part of the reimagining spaces project I was part of a workshop where I got to play around with thermal testing of housing as well as bending metal and making them into different kinds of shapes.

I tried playing around with paper models and making floor plans, also played around with lighting to see different kinds of shadows. Afterwards I sketched digitally over the top to give a much cleaner finish.
