In honor of Randolph-Macon Woman’s College’s class of 1974’s 50th Reunion, we have curated an exhibition based on their suggestions along with related works chosen by the Maier Museum staff. Art of Our Time demonstrates the impact of art on the lives of Randolph College students. These classmates remember objects that played a meaningful role during their time at the College and beyond, and the result is a truly collaborative project that evokes a time and place that is both specific and timeless. We hope this exhibition will bring back cherished memories for the class of 1974 and also spark new conversations and connections for all our visitors.
