Maratea... Italy’s best kept S E C R E T

Past the chaos of Naples and the Amalfi coast, you will eventually find yourself in Maratea… Italy’s best kept secret.
The small beach town located in the region of Basilicata remains authentic to its roots, having rarely changed in the name of tourism. With pristine, crystal clear waters and rolling mountains Maratea has it all.
24 Hours in Maratea
10am 2pm 6pm
Breakfast at the “Bar Del Porto” where you can get a warm pastry accompanied by an espresso. When ready to start the day take the shuttle bus to the beach “Lido Macarro”. At the beach you have the choice of renting sun beds or using the free beach either way you will be able to enjoy the pristine water.
At the beach there is a bar accessible to all where you can get food for lunch as well as drinks and ice creams. To explore the area further and if the budget allows there are pedalos and kayaks to rent.
As the sun starts to make its way behind the mountains, you can enjoy an aperitif at the beach bar before you deiced to take the shuttle bus back to your accommodation in order to prepare yourself for the evening. Once back at your accommodation take the time to relax as Maratea timings may be later to what you are used to.
9pm 11pm 3am
For dinner the best suggestion is the marina as it has a large offering of restaurants depending on your budget. The restaurant “Yumara”, on its terrace has its pizza parlour which is budget friendly with great views.
Once you have finished your dinner make sure you leave space for dessert and walk to the best Gelateria in Maratea, “Emilios”. At around 12.00 the nightlife will begin and “Yumara” is the best place to go for drinks and dancing.
As the night begins to slow down, depending on where you are staying the last bus that leaves the marina is at 3.00. But, if you feel like going all night and walking then you must stop at “Selvaggio” for a warm pastry to finish the day.

Il Buon Gusto di N a p o l i

Il Mangiare di Napoli...
Breakfast:
The best coffee Italy has to offer is waiting for you at Bar Gambrinus. Once you are caffeinated and energised head over to Pintauro and try a sfogliatella, one of Napoli’s classic pastries.
Lunch:
For lunch something that Napoli is very known for are their friggitorie where you can get a variety of fried goods for a very affordable price. The best place to go would be Fiorenzano.
Dinner:
As you are in Napoli the place where pizza was invented it is a must to go to the most famous and important pizzeria in all of Italy: L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele. My suggestion would be go for a margherita with buffalo mozzarella.
More treats:
If you want to try other famous Neapolitan treats you must go to Scartuccio to try their famous rum baba.
Stay Stylish..
If you are thinking of visiting Napoli it is important to stay stylish. Italian style isn't like other western countries, for example they have not yet adopted the athleisure sense of style, they stick to a more classy timeless sense of fashion.
Of course fashion is a means of self expression so there is no pressure to follow the style of the Italian however it could be fun to try a new way to dress and use it as a fun excuse to update your wardrobe through ASOS.
In Naples especially in the summer months it can get very hot so focus on wearing light and breezy clothes, lots of linen items tend to be worn as they keep you cool but are still considered classy. Also remember to accessories with fun pieces wether it be a belt, jewellery, sunglasses or hats, spice up your outfit with expressive accessories.

Day in PARIS

Paris is such a captivating city, full
activities. With so many options, picking what to do in just one day can be a challenge. This guide helps you maximise a short visit, whether it’s a day trip or a brief stay in Paris.
Explore the Champ de Mars gardens, Tower stands, which
10:30am
Travel to the Musée de l’Orangerie by hopping on the Metro from Champ de Mars or Pont de l’Arne to Invalides, then cross the Seine via Pont de la Concorde. While crossing the bridge, take in the view of Pont Alexandre III and the Grand Palais. At the Musée de l’Orangerie, you ............................can admire Monet’s Water Lilies paintings.
MIDDAY
Start your River .. Seine tour at the Musée d’Orsay stop
and go to Hotel de Ville, you will see the Eiffel Tower, the Grand and Petit Palais, the Louvre, and the Cathedral of Notre-Dame on your way down the river.

AFTERNOON
After you’ve eaten lunch, head to Anvers metro station via the Metro line. Take your time exploring Montmartre, starting from Sacré-Cœur Basilica to Place du Tertre. While you’re in the area, you may feel like strolling down the hill to check out the iconic Moulin Rouge on Boulevard de Clichy.
Travel to the Arc de Triomphe where you can admire the arch from the outside, but you can also go up into the arch to the viewing
It’s a beautiful location to overlook Paris, particularly at sunset. It’s advised to visit during this time to witness the sunset over Paris and observe the city lights turning on. 8:00pm
For dinner, a high-end restaurant recommendation is L’Oiseau Blanc, which is pretty close to the Arc de Triomphe, with views over the Paris rooftops to the Eiffel Tower. Although, if you’re looking for a

more affordable, but quintessentially Parisian option, dine at a classic French Brasserie. Les Philosophes is a classic and high-quality brasserie that both looks and feels perfect - but also offers high quality traditional French food. Alternatively, if you are catching the Eurostar back to the UK, opposite Gare du Nord is Terminus Nord, an Art Deco-inspired brasserie conveniently close to where you'll be checking in for your train!
