COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Making a Plan to Vote

Making a plan to vote is an important step in participating in the upcoming Primary election. The Idaho Primary Election will take place on May 19, 2026, and voters can choose how they want to cast their vote.

Voters can vote in person at their polling place on Election Day between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., vote early at County West between April 27 and May 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday), or registered voters can request an absentee ballot by May 8 if they prefer to vote by mail.

Absentee ballots must be returned to County West by Election Day. Planning ahead helps voters decide which option works best for their schedule and ensures they do not miss important deadlines.

Voters are also encouraged to visit voteidaho.gov to register, request an absentee, find their polling place, or view a sample ballot. Twin Falls County Clerk’s office will be mailing an Official Voter Pamphlet to registered voters. You can find the Official Voter Pamphlet on the county website when it’s available at twinfallscounty.org/election/.
