Laura Kanter 2015 Noche de Altares Culture Scene Laura is a leader in the Democratic Party and the Voice of the LGBT Community in Santa Ana. She normally takes images of birds but began a couple years ago covering cultural events. This is the Annual Event On 4th Street Noche de Altares. By making altars, participants are invite fellow community members into their own life and passions for a loved one. Families reunite at this event to remember and honor their loved ones.

Mike Mendez 2016 Fiestas Patrias Culture Scene This image was taken at the parade which takes place on Broadway celebrating Fiestas Patrias which is an annual festival commemorating the Mexican Revolution started on November 20, 1910. All of the different countries in Mexico who live within in the city of Santa Ana are represented in this event .
