Term 2 is well and truly underway, and boarding has returned at full pace. After the break, students settled quickly back into routine, re-engaging with both academic and co-curricular commitments
Boarding afternoons and evenings have already been filled with netball, rugby, soccer, music lessons, gym sessions, dance classes and part-time work, creating a busy but positive start to the term and reinforcing the balance that is central to boarding life.
A particular highlight this term has been the commencement of the Year 7 Cadets program As part of this structured program, all Year 7 boarders participate in cadets during Term 2 to support their transition into secondary school and boarding life.
Cadets is designed to build confidence, teamwork, self-discipline and leadership, while encouraging students to step outside their comfort zones and take responsibility within a group
The first night was a great success, with strong engagement, high energy and plenty of enthusiasm Students embraced the challenges and clearly enjoyed the experience
As Term 2 continues, boarding remains a busy but rewarding environment We look forward to seeing students continue to grow, manage their commitments and make the most of the wide range of opportunities available to them.
