Eileen Blair, wife and partner of George Orwell, is brought out of her husband’s shadow in this riveting graphic novel, which follows the couples’ tireless campaign to expose difficult political truths through art.

The end of the world is at hand. The Roaring Twenties are over, fascist forces are on the rise across Europe, and the dream of a workers’ paradise is all but dead. But in the midst of these turbulent times, a love story unfolds— one that will forever reshape our perception of totalitarianism.

Mrs. Orwell follows poet Eileen Blair and her husband, George Orwell, as they forge the professional and romantic partnership that would eventually bring us Animal Farm and Nineteen Eighty-Four From a honeymoon fighting fascists in the Spanish Civil War, to a narrow escape from Stalin’s agents and an even narrower escape from the London blitz, the Blairs’ campaign against fascism would bring them face-to-face with some of the greatest threats of the 1930s. But while Orwell struggles to make his voice heard against the pressures of political censorship, Eileen must fight to preserve her own voice within a marriage that threatens to consume her.

This sweeping account of Eileen Blair’s brief but dazzling life casts new light on a long-overlooked figure, and her persistent defense of that most beloved, most vulnerable principle: the power of the pen.

A LOVE STORY Everything in Color

Stephanie Stalvey

ISBN: HC: 9781250347800

Price (US/Canada): 29.99/41.99

Pub Date: 4/28/2026

Interrogating her own upbringing in an evangelical community, Stephanie Stalvey weaves a story of faith, alienation, romance and acceptance, in this beautifully painted graphic memoir. Perfect for fans of Blankets by Craig Thompson and Fun Home by Alison Bechdel.

Stephanie grew up in an evangelical community where love and obedience were overlapping themes. In this world, sin was inevitable, her body was a temptation, and desire was dangerous. Her own thoughts could not be trusted, because she was only saved if she believed the “right things” about God.

But as she grew, built a life of her own, and fell in love with a young seminarian named James, the complexities of the human experience became impossible to ignore. Was God truly so exacting and judgmental? Could faith exist beyond these rigid borders? Could love be both passionate and pure? Her connection to James—honest, caring and sensual—became a safe place for her worldview to expand. And when their son was born, she understood love in a whole new way… suddenly, everything was sacred, everything was in color.

Through striking prose and beautiful mixed media illustrations, Stalvey takes us on an emotional journey of faith, romance, motherhood and loss. With tenderness and honesty, she unravels the fear and guilt woven into her past, reclaims her sense of self, and shows us how to embrace a love that is healing, transformative, and wholly one’s own.

Stephanie Stalvey is an artist and writer currently living in North Carolina with her husband James, son Tommy, and their cats. After teaching high school painting for over a decade, she now works full time as an author and illustrator. Her autobiographical comics explore themes in relationships, spirituality, sex, religion, parenthood, and self discovery. She enjoys reading in the bath, swimming in the ocean and heart to hearts with her friends.

The Adventure Zone

Based on the McElroy family’s smash hit podcast, a graphic novel series following the metafictional adventures of three D&D characters and their interfering Dungeon Master, with art from rising star Carey Pietsch.

“...Topping the New York Times best-seller list and building out its stories in fascinating new ways...it’s become a cultural phenomenon.” —Entertainment Weekly

“The larger sardonic commentary on taking fantasy too seriously, matched with the characters’ unwillingness to follow a game’s unrealistic rules, will be clever and hilarious to those in the know.” —Booklist

Meet the McElroys! Clint was born first, which recent studies have shown is the best procedure for fathers and sons; then came Justin, Travis, and, last but not least, Griffin. This hilarious family gained fame in the world of podcasts with My Brother, My Brother and Me (which spawned a popular tv show), sawbones, shmanners, rosebuddies, and a farcical romp called The Adventure Zone

Carey Pietsch is a cartoonist based out of Brooklyn, New York. Her previous work includes drawing two arcs of Lumberjanes and the artwork for the Mages of Mystralia webcomic. Carey also makes Keepsakes and other original comics about magic and empathy. Along with brightening her workdays, The Adventure Zone got her to join a D&D campaign.

ISBN: HC: 9781626721999

Price (US/Canada): 34.99/48.99

Pub Date: 4/28/2026

Can you name the ghost in your machine? The precious ore coltan can be found in every cell phone and computer on earth. And in a small East African country, both the Black population and the land are exploited for this precious resource—the people as a source of cheap, expendable labor; the land as a mining site and international dumping ground for defunct technology.

Yet from the rubble, creativity and rebellion rise. An encounter between a miner and an otherworldly stranger named Neptune results in the birth of a hacker named Martyr Loser King, and the launch of a global cyberattack. Their plan will rock the world to its foundations, upend centuries of institutional abuse, and, perhaps, usher in a new age of understanding.

Steeped in mythology and history and inspired by present-day events, this cyberpunk fable from visionary poet, musician, and director Saul Williams is both a cautionary tale and a hopeful vision of the future.

Saul Williams is a poet, musician, and actor. He is the co-director, screenwriter, and composer of the science-fiction musical Neptune Frost. Saul made his acting and screenwriting debut in the 1998 feature Slam, which won Sundance’s Grand Jury Prize and the Cannes Film Festival’s Caméra d’Or. He has acted on stage and in film, starring as Tupac in the Broadway musical Holler, and appearing in Ryan Coogler’s Sinners. Saul has released six albums and has published five books of poetry.

Morgan Sorne is an award-winning artist, composer, worldbuilder, and musician whose primary instrument is his five-octave voice. He’s known for his visual works and immersive sound sculptures, and his original music can be heard in film, television, and video games, including Dark Matter, The Witcher: Blood Origin, American Horror Story, and more.

“Saul Williams’ new book Martyr Loser King turns cyberpunk into creative rebellion. The multidisciplinary artist’s upcoming graphic novel reframes sci-fi through a Black radical lens, spotlighting the power of community and collective consciousness.” —Essence

My Beloved Other

A MEMOIR OF LOVE, RACE, AND OPTIMISM IN A TIME OF DENIAL

Nick Abadzis and Angela Watson ; art by Nick Abadzis

ISBN: HC: 9781596433700

Price (US/Canada): 29.99/39.99

Pub Date: 8/11/2026

A timely graphic memoir about the farreaching impact of racism in today’s society, as seen through the lens of one couple’s interracial marriage.

Where does the concept of “the other” come from? And who truly benefits when we allow fear of the other to steer our society? Through charming banter and illuminating anecdotes from their personal lives, writer-artist Nick Abadzis and psychotherapist Angela Watson chronicle their nearly forty-year interracial relationship, their respective family histories, and their ongoing experiences with anti-Black racism in Britain and America, from the overt racial taunts of childhood bullies to the more subtle biases of the adult workplace.

In the midst of a dangerous political backlash that threatens to derail decades—if not centuries— of movement towards a more equitable and diverse world, My Beloved Other puts questions of race front and center, and turns a critical eye to the systems that seek to exploit our differences. Above all else, it challenges readers to do what can sometimes feel impossible: keep hope alive for a future where difference is embraced as a source of unity, not division.

Nick Abadzis has been creating books, magazines, newspaper strips, comics, animations, articles, and stories for both adults and children for almost forty years. He has been honored with various British and international storytelling awards, including an Eisner for Laika in 2008. He also works as an editorial consultant for publishing and a corporate graphic recorder.

Angela Watson was born and raised in Birmingham, UK, to Jamaican immigrants. With a career dedicated to the nonprofit sector in London and New York City, Angela spent years helping others before transitioning to her current role as a mental health therapist. Her diverse background and passion for mental health inform her writing, which explores themes of identity, culture, and personal growth. My Beloved Other marks Angela’s first collaboration, blending her unique experiences with a desire to connect deeply with readers. Her work invites reflection on mental wellbeing and the complexities of migration.

Price (US/Canada): 29.99/41.99

Pub Date: 9/29/2026

One spring morning, Ben Hatke walked out his door and headed east, carrying a sketchbook and the audacious trust that if he journeyed long enough, the curve of the earth would bring him home again. What he met was a world more perilous and more generous than he ever imagined.

In Home/World, the Eisner Award–winning creator chronicles this circumnavigation through ink-and-watercolor pages that capture not just the sweep of continents but flickers of human encounters: a shared meal in a village, a moment of terror at a border crossing, the language of laughter breaking through babel. Hatke’s storytelling transforms the travel narrative into something urgent and immediate—a reckoning with our fractured yet resilient planet.

In an age when the world feels boundless and claustrophobic, Home/World offers not an escape, but a return. A return to wonder, to hope, to the possibility that strangers may prove kinder than we think, and to the belief that art may yet hold humanity together.

Ben Hatke is the author and illustrator of the New York Times–bestselling Zita the Spacegirl trilogy, the picture books Julia’s House for Lost Creatures and Nobody Likes a Goblin, and the graphic novels Little Robot and Mighty Jack. He lives and works in the Shenandoah Valley with his wife and their boisterous pack of daughters.

STAY TUNED FOR ... Volume 4 (11/03/2026) & Volume 5 (2027)

Mercy is being hunted—and not by a single hunter, but a collective of them. Unlike Jonah, these hunters don’t differentiate between innocent monsters and dangerous ones. In their eyes, all non-human entities must be exterminated.

To grow their numbers and win over the locals, the collective is planning a public show of strength. Their sites are set on Bromweld, where a crew of monster pirates—Jonah’s former shipmates—have gathered. Jonah and Mercy must warn the pirates of the impending ambush, but it’s no easy task. The ship’s captain is just as dangerous as the hunters—and he and Jonah didn’t part ways on good terms.

A CARTOONIST’S JOURNAL IN THE AFTERMATH OF OCTOBER 7TH To Life

Joann Sfar

ISBN: HC: 9781250393210

Price (US/Canada): 39.99/55.99

Pub Date: 09/08/2026

Half journal and half journalism, To Life is an honest, thought-provoking, and intimate look at the future of Jewish people around the world. Through candid interviews with Jewish and Arab Israelis, comics luminary Joann Sfar explores the aftermath of October 7, 2023 with an urgent but non-ideological eye.

Artfully balancing humor and heartbreak, Sfar leans into contradiction to deliver a one-of-a-kind work that is charismatic, brilliant, and, above all, full of compassion. Bracing himself against the rising passions and deepening divides that threaten to overwhelm us, he instead embraces nuance, a belief in our common humanity, and the basic premise that both Israelis and Palestinians have a right to life.

Covering topics such as environmental hazards, disaster preparedness, and health disparities, The Greater Good explores the people, principles, and practices that shape public health. Pub Date: 11/18/2025

Did you know that bees charge themselves like batteries? That frogs float on magnetic fields, and seals use radar? This groundbreaking nonfiction graphic novel explores the vital but often unexpected roles that electricity and magnetism play in the natural world. Billions of years before the invention of the lightbulb, natural electricity was already shaping our world.

From subatomic particles to the solar system we’re all part of, electromagnetic forces have long formed the building blocks of reality as we know it. Yet the full extent of their impact is only just beginning to come to light. Electric Life invites readers on a breathtaking journey into this unseen world, revealing how electricity and magnetism affect not only us humans but also our planet and the universe at large: How does lightning influence communication among fish? Can plant electricity be translated into music? Do the earth and sun charge the moon like a solar battery? Does your heart’s magnetic field surround your entire body? Can the electrical properties of microbes be used to heal our bodies, or even reverse environmental damage?

With a fresh perspective and an accessible tone, Electric Life breaks down recent scientific advances and emerging technologies to answer these questions and more. Sander Funneman brings his many years of research to bear to create a cohesive and essentially hopeful look at the interconnectedness of life, complemented by the clarity and humor of Peter Brouwers’s spectacular illustrations. Together, they challenge readers to take a closer look at this incredible electrical world we are all part of.

Lucas Wars

THE TRUE STORY OF GEORGE LUCAS AND THE CREATION OF STAR WARS

Laurent Hopman; art by Renaud Roche; translated by Jeremy Melloul

ISBN: HC: 9781250367402

Price (US/Canada): 29.99/41.99

Pub Date: 09/16/2025

In a tale befitting the saga he created, Lucas Wars follows George Lucas’s journey from aimless dreamer to filmmaking trailblazer and prodigy of the New Hollywood movement. While his fellow rising stars—directors like Francis Ford Coppola, Steven Spielberg, and Martin Scorsese—craft The Godfather, Jaws, and Taxi Driver, Lucas follows his childhood dreams and begins work on an epic fantasy . . . which, he soon discovers, is not without its epic challenges.

Writer Laurent Hopman and artist Renaud Roche dive deep into the creative process behind Star Wars: A New Hope, from the hell of casting to the nightmare of filming. Lucas is forced to juggle actor quarrels, a secret love affair, costume and set mishaps, and constant pushback from film execs. But despite it all, a landmark movie emerges—one that changes the medium of film forever.

Lucas Wars is an exhilarating underdog story and a unique glimpse into the world of cinema. But most of all, it’s an ode to the magic of childhood and the value of perseverance.

Laurent Hopman is a journalist and writer. As an editor in chief in the entertainment press for over twenty years, a specialist in American cinema, and an expert on the Star Wars universe, he has long worked in show business. Now focus-ing on comics, his passion for Star Wars inspired him to write the script for Lucas Wars, the first graphic novel to tell the story of George Lucas and the genesis of this film.

Renaud Roche graduated from Gobelins Paris school of arts in 2002 and began his career in visual effects before turning to storyboarding and illustration. For almost twenty years, he worked in cinema, advertising, and editorial illustration. In 2019, he joined the Illumination Mac Guff studio and helped create feature films, including Sing 2 and Migration. But it was his love of Star Wars that drew him to comics. After Lucas Wars, he decided to devote himself to the medium full-time.

Free Speech Handbook

A PRACTICAL FRAMEWORK FOR UNDERSTANDING OUR FREE SPEECH PROTECTIONS

ISBN: PB: 9781250619761

Price (US/Canada): 21.99/28.99

Pub Date: 8/19/2025

In the face of a rising tide of censorship and suppression, this paperback edition of Free Speech Handbook equips readers with a practical framework for appreciating the history—and future—of our free speech protections.

Freedom of speech is perhaps the most American of virtues. In a nation where everyone wants to speak and be heard, this First Amendment right is vital to our identity and our democracy. These rights have been advanced by people who spoke out and fought in our nation’s highest court, with each decision refining and reshaping what exactly “free speech” means.

In Free Speech Handbook, Ian Rosenberg and Mike Cavallaro brilliantly trace this turbulent history across ten seminal Supreme Court cases while drawing parallels with more recent controversies. Rosenberg’s straightforward language combines with Cavallaro’s bold and bright art to create an accessible and engaging crash course on the meaning, reach, and limits of our free speech protections.

Ian Rosenberg has worked as a media lawyer for over twenty-five years, specializing in First Amendment, libel, and intellectual property law. A graduate of Cornell Law School, he is an adjunct associate professor at Brooklyn College, and an Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker. He is the author of The Fight for Free Speech: Ten Cases That Define Our First Amendment Freedoms and Terrible Stuff Damaging Everybody: Dominion v. Fox and the Future of Democracy.Brooklyn

His comics include Eisner Award–nominated Parade (with Fireworks), The Life and Times of Savior 28 (written by J. M. DeMatteis), Foiled and Curses! In the late 1980s, Poland faces de-bilitating food shortages, worker discontent, and astronomical inflation. Seemingly overnight, the country transitions from communism to capitalism. During this period of flux, Kasia Babis is born.

ORSON WELLES, THE ARTIST & THE SHADOW

Youssef Daoudi

ISBN: HC: 9781250805942

Price (US/Canada): 29.99/39.99

Pub Date: 05/06/2025

From graphic novelist Youssef Daoudi comes a stunning new biography of the director of Citizen Kane and Touch of Evil: legendary filmmaker Orson Welles.

Long after his death in 1985, the shadow of Orson Welles still looms over Hollywood. By twenty-three, Welles had revolutionized theatre and radio with The War of the Worlds; by twenty-five, he had secured his place in history with his debut film, Citizen Kane. Yet four films and less than a decade later, his career suffered a spectacular collapse, and Welles, once the most promising director in America, was written off as a “would-be genius”—a bad bet in an increasingly money-conscious industry.

In The Giant, Youssef Daoudi weaves together reality and mythology to create a radical new look at one of Hollywood’s most legendary figures and poses a question as timeless as Orson Welles himself: What happens when a true artist comes up against the rest of the world?

“Gloriously unruly...an incisive look at an artist who never recovered from the success of his youth.” —Publishers Weekly

Youssef Daoudi is a comic artist and illustrator living in France. He worked as an art director for multinational advertising firms for fifteen years before committing himself to writing and drawing graphic novels, including his graphic biographies of jazz musician Thelonious Monk (Monk!) and boxer Jack Johnson (Last On His Feet, with poetic verse by Adrian Matejka).

In this debut graphic novel from author Anna Meyer, a young woman skips Sunday mass for the very first time and is forced to confront a lifetime of Catholic guilt...as well as the demon hellbent on possessing her.

In her twenty-something years of existence, Catherine never skipped mass once. As a recovering Irish American Catholic, she has mostly traded the world of communion and confessionals for the “city-girl” struggle of worklife balance, family, and her relationships. The only thing she has not been able to shake is her fear that something bad will happen if she misses Sunday mass.

But her fears become a reality when she skips mass for the first time and discovers she is now being possessed by a demon claiming to be the prince of hell. As she takes matters into her own hands and attempts to exorcise these demons (both the paranormal and emotional kind), Catherine must face her buried guilt and what it truly means to be good.

A cathartic and engaging view into the messy life of an urban women in her early twenties, Anna Meyer’s Saint Catherine is truly a story of letting go of guilt and taking responsibility for your desires, hopes, and mistakes.

Anna Meyer was born in Northeast Ohio. She enjoys climbing, congregating in the kitchen, and coffee made by a loved one. Anna currently lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her partner, Bryan, and their two cats, sweet Ysif and not-so-sweet Oscar. Saint Catherine is her first graphic novel.

Brian “Box” Brown brings history and culture to life through his comics. In his new graphic novel, he unravels how marketing that targeted children in the 1980s has shaped adults in the present.

Powered by the advent of television and super-charged by the deregulation era of the 1980s, media companies and toy manufacturers joined forces to dominate the psyches of American children. But what are the consequences when a developing brain is saturated with the same kind of marketing bombardment found in Red Scare propaganda?

Brian “Box” Brown’s The He-Man Effect shows how corporate manipulation brought muscular, accessory-stuffed action figures to dizzying heights in the 1980s and beyond. Bringing beloved brands like He-Man, Transformers, My Little Pony, and even Mickey Mouse himself into the spotlight, this graphic history exposes a world with no rules and no concern for results beyond profit.

This riveting graphic novel biography chronicles Vladimir Putin’s rise from a mid-level KGB officer to the autocratic leader of Russia and reveals the truth behind the strongman persona he has spent his career cultivating.

In the West’s collective imagination, Vladimir Putin is a devious cartoon villain, constantly plotting and scheming to destroy his enemies around the globe and in Ukraine. But how did an undistinguished mid-level KGB officer become one of the most powerful leaders in Russian history? And how much of Putin’s tough-guy persona is a calculated performance?

In Accidental Czar, Andrew S. Weiss, a former White House Russia expert, and Brian “Box” Brown, show how Putin has successfully cast himself as a cunning, larger-than-life political mastermind—and how the rest of the world has played into the Kremlin’s hands by treating him as one. They shatter all of these myths and expose the man behind the façade.

ISBN: HC: 9781250857910

In this atmospheric tribute to the medieval folklore tradition of trickster tales starring Reynard the fox, beloved children’s cartoonist Ben Hatke turns his pen to a very special project for adult readers.

Inspired by the 12th-century tales of the indomitable trickster fox Reynard, this offbeat tribute to the archetypal rogue has a satisfyingly old-fashioned feeling to it. Featuring evocative, charming black-andwhite illustrations and a swiftly moving narrative, Reynard’s Tale follows our hero through a series of encounters with other classic figures from this body of folklore to piece together a headlong journey through a perilous landscape filled with murderers, kings, ex-lovers, mermaids, and even Death herself.

There is wisdom in the land of the dead, for it is the place that all stories lay to rest. And what is a story, if not a simulation of survival? Wielding his massive experience from film, TV, comics, and more, Brian McDonald lays out a history of storytelling and shows the reader how the best tales tug at our truest biological instinct: the need to survive. Readers will see how different forms of survival—physical, emotional, spiritual— inform the arc of character development in a way that makes them more complex and compelling. And how plot and circumstance must then force your protagonist to meet their worst nightmare. Toby Cypress’s electric art guides the reader through the underworld, visualizing each narrative masterpiece, and bringing the ideas to life.

Whether you’re in film, books, comics, or simply a story enthusiast, this book offers a way to see character development and the crafting of plot through the lens of human questions of morality and mortality.

A PORTRAIT OF EUGENE BULLARD Now Let Me Fly

Ronald Wimberly; art by Brahm Revel

ISBN: HC: 9781626728523

Price (US/Canada): 29.99/39.99

Pub Date: 01/03/2023

On the eve of World War I, Eugene Bullard was a refugee of the Jim Crow South who was determined to find a place where a Black man would be treated as a fellow human being. His search took him from rural Georgia to the streets of Paris, from the vaudeville stage to the boxing ring, and finally, from the muddy trenches to the open skies. In 1914, Bullard joined the fight to defend France—and made history as the world’s first African American fighter pilot.

In this candid but sensitive portrait of Bullard, author Ronald Wimberly balances the personal and the historical to interrogate concepts of cynicism, idealism, fear, glory, and the pervasiveness of anti-Black racism.

“Carries off the lift of a pulp adventure, while memorializing Bullard’s warrior spirit.”

A GRAPHIC HISTORY OF THE SILVER BALL Pinball

“Beautifully drawn color graphics loaded with informed historical text, here’s the story of why pinball is popular and a focus of today’s videogame arcade rooms.” —New York Public Library, Best Books of 2022

Jon Chad

Price (US/Canada): 29.99/39.99

Pub Date: 04/05/2022

In 1976, champion player Roger Sharpe stepped up to a pinball machine in a Manhattan courtroom. The New York City Council had convened to consider lifting the city’s ban on pinball—a game that had been outlawed since 1942 for its supposed connections to gambling and organized crime. Sharpe was there to prove that, unlike a slot machine, pinball wasn’t a game of chance designed to fleece its players—it was a game of skill that required a measure of patience, coordination, and control. To prove his point, he proclaimed that he would launch his ball into the center lane at the far end of the playfield—much like Babe Ruth famously pointing to the fences. Sharpe pulled back the plunger and released, and the fate of this industry and art form hung in the balance.

Thus opens Jon Chad’s comprehensive graphic novel to the history of the captivating, capricious— and at times infuriating!—game of pinball. Tracing pinball’s roots back to the Court of King Louis XIV, through the immigrant experience of early 20th century America, the post-War boom and bust, right up to the present day, Chad charmingly ushers readers through the myriad facets of this most American of pursuits—capturing not just the history but also the artistry, cultural significance, and even the physics of the game.

Jon Chad is the author of the Leo Geo series and Science Comics: Volcanoes, the illustrator of Science Comics: Solar System, and the creator of the multi-format immersion narrative Bad Mask. He also drew the art package for The Jetsons pinball machine for The Pinball Company and Spooky Pinball..

“In this nonfiction work, Chad tells the improbably exciting story of the development of the pinball machine, including the fact the game was outlawed for nearly 30 years for its connection to gambling and the mob.”

From his early days at the St Albans School and Oxford, Stephen Hawking’s brilliance and good humor were obvious to everyone he met. A lively and popular young man, it’s no surprise that he would later rise to celebrity status.

At twenty-one he was diagnosed with ALS, a degenerative neuromuscular disease. Though the disease weakened his muscles and limited his ability to move and speak, it did nothing to limit his mind. He went on to do groundbreaking work in cosmology and theoretical physics for decades after being told he had only a few years to live. He brought his intimate understanding of the universe to the public in his 1988 bestseller, A Brief History of Time. Soon after, he added pop-culture icon to his accomplishments by playing himself on shows like Star Trek, The Simpsons, and The Big Bang Theory, and becoming an outspoken advocate for disability rights.

Join Lin and Julie in the middle of an airport, as they wonder aloud how America can ever be a democracy when citizens seem to disagree about everything. With them, we are whisked through political history, and journey through different systems of power, including monarchy, theocracy, dictatorship and oligarchy.

Beka Feathers and Ally Shwed shine a bright light on power, justice, and the promise of true democracy.

Re: Constitutions explains the role constitutions play in how government is structured and provides context for the modern issues that arise from these documents.

Marcus is stumped by a summer assignment: to write an essay on what it means to be a citizen. He’s surprised to hear from people in his community that constitutions play an important role when it comes to citizenship—they can even affect whether you feel like you belong in your country or not. From a Kosovo Albanian neighbor to a Rwandan exchange student, and even in his own family history, Marcus discovers stories of how constitutions—including the U.S. Constitution—shape the political landscape and our daily lives.

From Beka Feathers, an expert in post-conflict institution building, and Kasia Babis, an accomplished political cartoonist, comes a graphic novel that gives context to the modern issues that arise from constitutions. With historical examples from all over the world, Re: Constitutions examines how this essential document defines a nation’s identity and the rights of its citizens.
