Dolores, Eastern Samar – Demonstrating remarkable skill, determination, and sportsmanship, the Maasin City Tigers Athletes left a mark at the recently concluded Eastern Visayas Regional Athletic Association (EVRAA) Meet 2025, held in Eastern Samar, February 20-26, 2025. Under the leadership of Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Genis S. Murallos, the delegation, composed of 84 athletes and 14 coaches, showcased their prowess on the regional stage, securing nine (9) medals with 2 Golds, 2 Silver, 5 Bronze and bringing pride and honor to the city. Maasin City – The Eastern Visayas Regional Athletic Association (EVRAA) 2025 is set to take center stage in Maasin City, with delegations from across the region arriving on February 26. This prestigious event brings together an approximation of 2899 delegations, including 2426 student-athletes, 473 coaches, .... ....assistant coaches, and chaperones, as well as the dignitaries, officials, and other guests from 13 schools divisions across Region VIII, all set to compete in 7 diverse games that include regular sports such as volleyball, and basketball; demonstrations sports like Arnis, Pencak Silat, and wushu; football as exhibition sports; and chess as strategy games.
