The May edition of our Five Centuries auction features Georgian, Regency and Victorian furniture as well as impressive 17th century examples, a fine selection of carpets, works of art, and a wide range of paintings - from portraiture and landscapes to still life and lithographs. Specialist collecting areas are represented, featuring ceramics, glass, folk art, clocks and scientific instruments, with highlights including a fine Roman micromosaic snuff box by Pierre-André Montauban and an early 19th century example of Cary's New Terrestrial Table Globe.
