As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

I wanted to be a lawyer.

What are your career plans?

I plan to pursue a business entrepreneurship degree from Dordt University. After I graduate from Dordt, Lord willing, I will attend cosmetology school. I hope to work as a hairstylist and open a salon.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

It was between becoming a zoologist and an author. I think I wanted to become a zoologist  rst.

What are your career plans?

I plan to be an environmental statistician after completing college. If that does not work out, I still would like to pursue a career in either environmental sciences or a branch of statistical analysis.

When I was little, I think I wanted to have lots of stu ed animals and kitties. I don’t remember wanting to be anything speci c. What are your career plans?

My career plans involve helping and giving back to my community.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

As a child, I was fascinated by stories. I still am.

What are your career plans?

After university, I plan to combine my humanistic passions with my creative ones. I want to follow those dreams of youth, become an anthropologist, a documentary lmmaker, write for National Geographic or become a professor. Something that fosters human interaction, travel and gives me a worthwhile story to tell.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up? I wanted to work at ESPN and be a sideline reporter for college football. What are your career plans?

I am going to get my bachelor’s degree in nance with the goal of becoming a nancial analyst.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was a kid until I learned how gross and bloody it can be.

What are your career plans?

I want to be a school speech pathologist. I really love interacting with kids and I love learning about language and how language works. It’s all very fascinating to me.

Meg Clarke

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

As a child I always wanted to be an engineer when I got older, as I really enjoyed doing hands-on projects that required lots of thought and attention to detail.

What are your career plans?

As of now, I plan to become a personal trainer/coach after I graduate college. I am very passionate about athletics and would love to help those in our community reach their tness goals.

I’ve wanted to be a civil engineer since I was in fourth grade.

What are your career plans?

I plan to attend Washington State University and pursue a degree in civil engineering. I am interested in designing and improving infrastructure that has a positive impact on my community.

For the longest time when I was younger I wanted to become a teacher.

What are your career plans?

I want to get into the horticulture eld. I want to specialize in the eld of houseplants.

I didn’t really have that much of an idea for what I speci cally wanted to do until around 11th grade, but being either a video game developer or some kind of engineer seemed really interesting. What are your career plans?

After college, I’m going to become a video game developer. If that doesn’t work out well, then I’ll go for another computer science focused job, like a software developer.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

When I was little, I wanted to be a reghter. I remember thinking they were some of the strongest and most important people in the community.

My goal is to become an OB/GYN ultrasound technician.

As a child, I wanted to become a YouTuber. I was always creating videos with my friends and posting them online. What are your career plans?

My career goal is to become a successful content creator. I am already earning income from my channel, Pianicam, and I plan to continue growing it by expanding my audience and content. I hope to develop it into a long-term, sustainable career.

I’ve always had an interest in the human body and wanted to be a physical therapist until I realized how much school that meant I needed.

What are your career plans?

I hope to get into the sonography program in the fall at SCC and get a job as a sonographer upon completion of the program.

My rst career aspiration was to be a geologist. ere was an area in my backyard with a bunch of really cool rocks, and I would pretend to be the owner of a rock museum.

I’m planning to become an aerospace engineer while lobbying part-time (probably for the aerospace company I work for).

When I was a child, I always wanted to become a veterinarian. As I got older, I realized this wasn’t a very realistic career path for me because I can’t stand blood.

My goal is to earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting. In the long term, I hope to pursue a career as a certi ed public accountant.

As a child, I wanted to become a baker. I’ve always loved spending my free time in the kitchen, making all kinds of sweet treats. Over time, however, I realized that my true passion is helping others.

My career plans include becoming a dental assistant, specializing in pediatric dentistry.

My career plans are to work as a hairdresser. I believe though that I need to have some business knowledge before going into the industry so I can represent myself well and know exactly how I want to do that professionally.

I wanted to be a circus performer because I saw people doing it at the fair and it looked fun.

What are your career plans?

I plan to get a degree in businesses administration management, which will equip me with many skills and set me up for when I choose my career in the future.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

Growing up, I always wanted to be someone who leads and supports others.

What are your career plans?

Protecting and serving others has been a calling on my heart. I plan to earn a BS in business management and administration, then enter law enforcement.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

I wanted to be a mother. Ever since I could hold a baby doll, the idea of being a stay-at-home mom was my dream (and still is).

What are your career plans?

I plan to get my master’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology and become a faith-based mental-health therapist specializing in adolescent girls. However, I do also want to be a published author as well and plan to publish both ction and non ction books.

I wanted to be a professional soccer player because I played soccer all the time and watched soccer with my parents all the time.

I plan to attend the University of Washington to study computer science.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

As a kid, I wanted to be an astronaut. I thought seeing space would be so cool and loved the idea of oating around. I even had a hat that I wore every day that said “I work at NASA," on it was the face of the monkey who went to space.

What are your career plans?

I plan to get a job with my computer science degree and pursue a career in that eld. If I decide to change paths, I will shift to a teaching degree and teach high school math.

Piper Singleton

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

When I was a kid I wanted to be a good pirate that would voyage across the seas searching for lost treasurer on a huge pirate ship. I would use that treasure to help others when I would go ashore and I would have fun exploring other islands and places.

What are your career plans?

My career plans are to be a mechanical engineer. I specically want to work on theme parks and my goal would be to work for Disney or Universal after I graduate from college.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

When I was a child, I really wanted to be a train conductor. I thought trains were the coolest things ever and really wanted to be paid to travel.

I plan to serve in the Air Force immediately after graduating college, and become a commercial pilot after that.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

As a kid, I always wanted to be in the NBA. Basketball has always been a passion of mine and I dreamed of walking across the NBA draft stage.

What are your career plans?

I plan to get a master’s in accounting to go into accounting and get my CPA license or enter the nance eld as a nancial planner and analyst and move up in corporate roles. I also am playing basketball in college and hope to go as far as it can take me.

I'm going to school starting in fall for beauty and wellness to become a nail technician.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

When I was little I dreamed to become a doctor but that only lasted a little while when I found a new interest where I wanted to become a teacher and then a re ghter until now a nail tech.

What are your career plans?

To become a nail technician after nishing beauty school then hopefully get a job at a nail place until I’m able to open my own.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

I always wanted to play Major League Baseball. What are your career plans?

I plan to play baseball as long as I can and become to an engineer. I am committed to Edmonds College to play baseball, and there I will take their transfer degree program for engineering. After school, if I am done with my baseball career, I will be a mechanical engineer, and would also like to coach youth baseball.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

When I was a child the rst thing I wanted to be when I grew up was a teacher. I wanted to be a teacher because my mom is a teacher and I liked to play pretend school at home with my sister and neighbors.

What are your career plans?

I plan to get a degree in dental hygiene through Utah Tech’s bachelor’s program.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

When I was younger, I always had a desire to be a business owner, particularly a co ee shop owner. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to do interior design, photography or have a co ee shop, so as a result I decided I would do all three. My plan was to build a co ee shop, design the inside myself, and display my photography there. What are your career plans?

I plan to major in interior design and potentially minor in marketing.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

I believe that I wanted to be a construction worker.

I always loved all the equipment and the task of building things.

What are your career plans?

I am going to Eastern Washington to study mechanical engineering. I want to take that degree and nd a really good job. Even if the job doesn’t entail mechanical engineering, I believe that my degree will help me get good jobs in the related elds.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

After I discovered some geocaches on a hike one time, I became fascinated with the idea of being an archaeologist. I have this vivid memory of looking for prehistoric snail shells and being satis ed with a few rusty nails. When my dad told me that looking around in the dirt for really old things was a genuine occupation, I didn’t even question any other option for my life.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

e rst thing I wanted to be as a child was a professional athlete as I have always loved sports and played basketball, baseball and football growing up. What are your career plans?

I will major in accounting and minor in nance and economics. I am unsure of my exact career plans currently, but I am considering doing nancial planning or something along those lines.

I am going to attend Oklahoma State University in Stillwater this fall.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

I wanted to be a vet because I have always loved animals and I wanted to have a job where I could spend my time outside. What are your career plans?

I want to help American farmers and ranchers as much as I can. A double major in agribusiness and accounting at Oklahoma State University is the rst step in completing that goal.

As a child, what was the rst thing you wanted to become when you grew up?

e rst thing I wanted to be was a mom. My favorite game to play with my siblings and friends was house/family, and I would always choose to be the mom.

At the moment I am undecided. Everything sounds so interesting, and I hate that I can’t choose to study everything.

When I was a kid I wanted to be a nurse, that is my mom’s career and I looked up to her.

I am undecided on my major, but I am strongly considering teaching.

I hope to be a math and science teacher at middle school level and eventually become a high school math teacher. I want to be the kind of teacher who helps students feel encouraged and capable.

During my undergraduate years, I plan to do research involving prosthetic limbs, tissue grafts and improving methods of drug delivery. Afterward, I plan to attend medical school, followed by residency in either neurosurgery or plastic surgery.

Lizard trainer. I just really loved lizards. I don’t even know if such a job exists but I wanted to train them.

I plan to major in nursing with a minor in Spanish. It is so helpful to be bilingual and I believe I could be a really big blessing with that skill, especially in the medical eld, particularly in a hospital setting.
