Lyceum Northwestern University (LNU) Located in Dagupan City, was established in 1969. Situated on the island of Luzon, Dagupan is an autonomous city in the province of Pangasinan with a modest population of over 180,000. It is a significant financial and economic hub in the Philippines' north. The yearround average temperature in this serene, verdant city is between 22 and 32 degrees Celsius. It offers pupils a top-notch learning environment. There are twelve hospitals in Dagupan, the biggest of which has more than 600 beds.
Lyceum Northwestern University began as a nursing school before progressively growing into a fully fledged, independent institution. It is a wellknown medical school that places a strong emphasis on teamwork and balanced intellectual and social skills. By 2021, LNU wants to be known as the Regional Center for Excellence in Medical Education.
With more than 7000 students enrolled in a variety of faculties, Lyceum Northwestern University boasts a state-of-the-art campus. More than 250 Indian medical students are among the more than 1800 international students. In its contemporary hostel building, it provides safe, secure, and reasonably priced lodging. It also includes recreational and sports facilities on campus. There is a separate Indian food mess there.
The majority of medical courses in the Philippines are practically orientated, following the US model. In contrast, the LNU Medical Program is more practically orientated and gives its medical students hands-on experience through its partnerships with government hospitals and clinics.
