As we reach the close of another academic year, I find myself reflecting with immense pride and gratitude on all that our boarding community has achieved together. It has been a year defined not only by successes and milestones, but by kindness, resilience, and the everyday moments that make this such a special place to live, grow, and develop.
I congratulate those that have taken their GCSE and A Level examinations this term In the pause after exams and before what comes next, you will discover that growth and achievement was never confined to the classroom or the exam hall but it is what is happening within you and through your efforts, academic and personal. all along.
To our leavers, as you sign off on this chapter of your life and prepare to start a new page in your book, whether to university, new institutions, or the big wide world beyond, we wish you every success and happiness You leave as valued members of our community and the family that is LVS Boarding, and we hope that you have made relationships and memories to last a lifetime, as well as, lessons, and confidence that boarding life has helped shape Remember that the world beyond these walls is full of opportunity; be curious, be courageous, and make the most of every experience Do not be strangers, you are always more than welcome to visit, particularly in boarding time and please do let us know how you are doing.
My sincere thanks go to our exceptional boarding staff team, whose dedication, care, and commitment make this community what it is. And to our boarders, thank you for your energy, your spirit, and for making this year truly memorable

Boarders of the Half Term Hampton House
Daniel - This term, Daniel has truly turned things around and deserves recognition for his outstanding personal development and growth He has demonstrated a far more mature and positive approach in all areas of school life, becoming an extremely helpful and supportive member of the community His attitude, effort, and willingness to contribute have been exemplary, and it has been a pleasure to see his confidence and sense of responsibility flourish. In recognition of these achievements, Daniel has been awarded a promotion and will take on the role of House Prefect of Hampton House from September.
Riyon - Relatively new to the Hampton family, Riyon is an absolute credit to the community. He is consistently friendly, proactive, and incredibly approachable, always willing to lend a hand to both staff and other boarders alike His positive attitude is infectious, and he is never short of a smile, helping to create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone around him Riyon’s reliability and natural kindness make him a highly valued member of the house and as such, will take on the position of Pastoral Prefect from September

Boarders of the Half Term Osborne House
Jashmine has had a fantastic year in boarding and has demonstrated excellent leadership skills throughout. She is always willing to help others and approaches every situation with maturity, kindness, and confidence. Jashmine is a wonderful role model for younger boarders, setting a great example through her positive attitude and supportive nature. Jashmine has also been an outstanding host during our Middle Eastern cultural celebrations, proudly sharing her culture and helping others learn and engage. Jashmine's enthusiasm, reliability, and caring personality make her a valued member of the Osborne House community.
Alice brings so much fun, energy, and positivity to boarding life. She is always smiling, kind to others, and willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Alice is hardworking, mature, and incredibly reliable, making her a valued member of the house and a great support to staff. She has been actively involved in sports and embraces opportunities with enthusiasm and determination Alice has also been fantastic at hosting and helping to organise boarding events, ensuring everyone feels included and has a great time Her cheerful personality and positive spirit make Osborne House a brighter place every day It is with sadness we bid Alice farewell as she continues to spread her wings back in Brazil next year! https://www.instagram.com/lvs
Boarders of the Half Term Blenheim House
Sam M has shown excellent personal growth over the academic year He has become a reliable and trustworthy member of the house, consistently demonstrating a mature and positive attitude. As Sam moves into next year, we hope to see him continue building on this progress, and become someone that staff can depend on.
Denys M has been awarded Boarder of the Half Term in recognition of the maturity and independence he has shown. It has been excellent to see him knuckle down with his studies and take greater ownership of his responsibilities His focus, attitude and personal development have been really positive, and he should be very proud of the progress he has made.

Livvie has been awarded Boarder of the Half Term in recognition of the fantastic progress she has made this year She has consistently prioritised her academics, working hard during prep and demonstrating a strong commitment to her studies. Livvie is a positive presence within the house, always respectful and never causing any issues. Her warm smile, kind nature, and positive attitude make her a pleasure to be around. It has been wonderful to see her flourish this year, and she is thoroughly deserving of this award
Zeynep has been awarded Boarder of the Half Term in recognition of her outstanding contribution to boarding life. As our newly appointed Prefect for next year, she consistently demonstrates reliability, maturity, and a strong sense of responsibility. Zeynep is a true team player who is always supportive of her peers and staff, and she continually strives to do what is best for Kew House Her positive attitude, commitment, and willingness to help others make her a valued member of our boarding community and a deserving recipient of this award for the final half term of the year
Spring Term Highlights
Hampton House
Ingsu and Arin (&Yuvi but not in this photo) all said that easily the best thing of this half term has been the trip to Reading Lagoona. Everyone taking part, so much fun and the opportunity to let off some steam.
Osborne House
Carina (Year 7) said that for me the best part of boarding is creating with my friends also having late night chats that made ordinary days even special.
Blenheim House
Theo (Year 13) said: The friendship that the three of us have developed is really special. Sitting together on Ramazan’s final evening as a group of three, and then on Cagan’s last evening as a pair, were both really special memories for me As is often the case with boarding, it’s not the water parks, theme parks or theatre trips that stay with us, but the late nights spent with friends, talking about everything and nothing in our dorm rooms. "
Kew House
Dasha (Pre A Level) said her highlight of the half term was celebrating England beating Croatia in their first game of the 2026 World Cup. Dasha and other Kew girls watched with Blenheim House, and enjoyed cheering the team on together!

A Message To Hampton from Mr Wilder
Hampton House has enjoyed a truly fantastic year, packed full of energy, opportunity, and memorable experiences When it comes to trips, it really has been a case of “you name it, we’ve done it!” From gokarting and paintballing to Legoland, Thorpe Park, and Reading Lagoona, the boys have embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm. Add in paddleboarding, kayaking, golf (both crazy and traditional), Ninja Warrior, Coral Reef, ice skating, bowling, Laser Quest, escape rooms, and even the O2 Arena, and it’s clear just how busy and exciting the year has been.
Back in the House, Monday and Friday nights have been a real highlight, with whole-house activities bringing everyone together to play games and simply enjoy each other’s company as a family. Pool tournaments have been fiercely contested, with many boys toppling the long-standing staff champions most notably our youngest ever winner, Pri in Year 7. The introduction of the new slip and slide has also added plenty of laughter and fun to the warmer days
Above all, it has been a fantastic year because of the boys themselves a great group who have consistently embodied the House motto, Play The Game. Their attitude, camaraderie, and willingness to get involved have made Hampton House a brilliant place to be. We look forward to more of the same next year
A Message To Osborne from Miss Swiech
This has been a fantastic year for Osborne House, filled with friendship, achievement, and memorable experiences. We were delighted to welcome new boarders and international exchange students, whose cultures and perspectives enriched our community.
This year we celebrated Chinese New Year, Nepali New Year, Middle Eastern culture, International Women’s Day, and Valentine’s Day Students also enjoyed exciting trips and activities, particularly our visit to Thorpe Park, Indoor Skydiving, Ice-skating, Go Karting, K-Pop concert. The girls also enjoyed funfilled inflatables events all of which helped create lasting memories together.
I am incredibly proud of the girls for their resilience, kindness, and support for one another throughout the year As Osborne House continues to grow and improve, I would like to thank all students, parents, guardians, and staff for their support. Special thanks to Ms Church for always supporting our students and being an active presence in Osborne.
Well done, Osborne ladies you should be very proud of all you have achieved. Here’s to another exciting year ahead!

A Message To Blenheim from Mr Dennis
Life in Blenheim House: A Term in Motion

When I returned to boarding at LVS in February after a 15-year hiatus I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. What I did not anticipate, however, was just how quickly Blenheim House would feel like home. From the very first week, the boys welcomed my family and me with warmth, kindness and a genuine sense of community that set the tone for everything that followed. What has struck me most over the past months is the character of the boys Whether it’s small daily acts of kindness, or the quiet resilience shown during the pressures of exam season, they have proven themselves to be, as I described early on, “true gentlemen.”
Life in Blenheim is defined by its rhythm hard work during the week, and a rich variety of shared experiences at the weekend The return of our now-infamous Bar Nights quickly became a staple, while weekends brought opportunities to explore, unwind, and enjoy each other’s company. Perhaps the most powerful aspect of this term has been the strength of the community itself One particularly striking moment came during National Boarding Week, when the boys wrote and shared letters of gratitude with one another a simple yet deeply meaningful exercise that captured exactly what Blenheim is about
As the term progressed, the house inevitably shifted into examination mode Yet through the stress, one thing never wavered: the boys’ conduct. They remained, “to a man, a credit.” Loo
A Message To Kew from Miss Chiwara and Miss Church
This has been a fantastic year for Kew House, filled with friendship, laughter, achievement, and unforgettable memories. We would like to thank all of our girls for making Kew such a warm, welcoming, and vibrant community
The girls have consistently demonstrated kindness, resilience, confidence, and a wonderful ability to support one another, creating an environment where everyone feels valued and encouraged to thrive.
Throughout the year, they enjoyed a range of exciting activities and trips, including Indoor Skydiving, a visit to Bubble Planet in London, full boarder trips to Reading Lagoona and Thorpe Park, and a festive trip to the Blenheim Palace Christmas Market. The girls also enjoyed a BBQ with Blenheim House and cooking sessions with Osborne House, which helped to strengthen friendships across the boarding community
Our Wine and Cheese Nights, relaxing spa evenings, and McFlurry treats provided special opportunities for the girls to unwind, connect, and create lasting memories together. We are incredibly proud of everything the girls have achieved this year and grateful to all parents, guardians, and staff for their continued support Well done, Kew ladies—you should be immensely proud of yourselves.
