Luzé Gonçalves

Luzé Gonçalves (1994, RJ/BR), bachelor's degree in Performing Arts (PUC-Rio) with parallel training in cinema, is a transdisciplinary artist. She moves between performance, writing, and directing - whether in the performing arts or audiovisual media. Today, her most notable work is the short film “Mandinga de Gorila,” developed at LAB Cinema Expandido (2023/24), which has been selected for seven national festivals and won a popular jury award: Acquisition by Porta Curtas and Canal Curta at the 2024 Kinoforum International Festival.
