The journey began in 2003 when Dillard-Jones Builders was founded by Tom Dillard and Bryan Jones, driven by a leap of faith and a shared vision to build homes with authentic craftsmanship. Over time, the company evolved into a “All-Inclusive” solution, known for its award-winning luxury homes and commitment to lasting relationships.

Working alongside DOMA Architecture and Tribus Interior Design, Dillard-Jones Builders delivers a seamless, personalized process from concept to completion. DOMA shapes thoughtful, clientcentered designs, while Tribus curates interiors that reflect each client’s story.

At Dillard-Jones Builders, we bring over 20 years of experience partnering with leading architects across the Carolinas. We also collaborate closely with talented interior designers who help shape every project. Our trusted partners at Doma and Tribus further support a comprehensive and well-coordinated design-build process.

Along the coast, our commitment to thoughtful design continues with exciting projects underway. These collaborations include Court Atkins Group, Herlong Architects, Aaron Cote, Pearce Scott Architects, and many others.

We are also proud of our ongoing partnership with MHK, whose expertise helped bring one of our most celebrated projects to life— the 2024 Southern Living Idea Home. This residence beautifully reflects the character and setting of Kiawah River.

Quality Control

Our Director of Quality Control conducts monthly site visits to verify that construction aligns with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and schedule.

A detailed monthly quality report is provided to management, who visit the site the following week to verify that corrective actions have been completed.

A final deep dive of the entire home is conducted prior to move-in.

Once plans are finalized, we bring your home to life with precision and care. You’ll receive consistent updates through Buildertrend, on-site walk-throughs, and scheduled touchpoints as your home progresses through each construction milestone.

Money Management

Transparency through all we do (budgets, fees, etc.)

We never commingle funds from one project to another

We work in a variety of contract formats, including lump sum, cost plus, and cost plus fixed fee

After the build is completed, our relationship continues with our lifetime commitment to service what we build. Our clients enjoy seemless completion of punch list and warranty work and typically allow our team to provide turn-key maintenance for ease of ownership.
