The journey began in 2003 when Dillard-Jones Builders was founded by Tom Dillard and Bryan Jones, driven by a leap of faith and a shared vision to build homes with authentic craftsmanship. Over time, the company evolved into a “All-Inclusive” solution, known for its awardwinning luxury homes and commitment to lasting relationships.

Dillard-Jones partners with Tribus Interior Design, bringing interior design into the process from the very beginning. Tribus ensures each home is thoughtfully designed inside and out—creating spaces that feel cohesive, intentional, and uniquely personal.

At Dillard-Jones Builders, we bring over 20 years of experience partnering with leading architects across the Carolinas. We also collaborate closely with talented interior designers who help shape every project. Our trusted partners at Doma and Tribus further support a comprehensive and well-coordinated designbuild process.
Along the coast, our commitment to thoughtful design continues with exciting projects underway. These collaborations include Court Atkins Group, Herlong Architects, Aaron Cote, Pearce Scott Architects, and Bill Huey.
We are also proud of our ongoing partnership with MHK, whose expertise helped bring one of our most celebrated projects to life—the 2024 Southern Living Idea Home. This residence beautifully reflects the character and setting of Kiawah River.

Throughout the design stages, our interior design team is there from day one.
MOOD BOARDS SELECTIONS
We approach interior and exterior selections early in the process to ensure every design decision is intentional, cohesive, and aligned with the home’s architecture from the start.
3D PHOTO REALISTIC RENDERING
We use a combination of realistic 3D renderings and tools like SketchUp and Lumion to visually communicate the design intent before construction begins, including cabinet drawings.
Build Process
Once plans are finalized, we bring your home to life with precision and care. You’ll receive consistent updates through Buildertrend, on-site walk-throughs, and scheduled touchpoints as your home progresses through each construction milestone.

Quality Control
Our Director of Quality Control conducts monthly site visits to verify that construction aligns with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and schedule.
A detailed monthly quality report is provided to management, who visit the site the following week to verify that corrective actions have been completed.
A final deep dive of the entire home is conducted prior to move-in.

This is where your house truly becomes a home. Through thoughtful interior design, we bring each space to life— blending style and function with custom millwork, curated furnishings, and carefully chosen décor. Every detail is intentionally crafted to reflect your personality and the way you live, creating spaces that are welcoming, beautiful, and distinctly your own.
FURNISHING MOVE IN DWELL DISCOVERY PROPOSAL VISUALIZATION
FLOOR PLANS
Floor plans help visualize the home by showing the placement of rooms, circulation, and how each space connects and functions together.
FURNITURE PRESENTATIONS
During the furniture presentation, we review furniture layouts along with fabrics, wall coverings, and rugs. Hands-on samples allow clients to experience textures, colors, and materials, helping visualize how all elements work together.
3D VISUALIZATION
Clients can virtually walk through their home, seeing everything from layouts and cabinetry to hardware and fixtures.
Maintain
After the build is completed, our relationship continues with our lifetime commitment to service what we build. Our clients enjoy seemless completion of punch list and warranty work and typically allow our team to provide turn-key maintenance for ease of ownership.
