Location : Seawall Blvd ,Galveston ,TX





Located along the Galveston Seawall at the north-eastern end of the island, the NOAA Reachsearch Vessel, a mixed innovation center where the public and NOAA scientists dedicate to study the ocean, climate, and space. Based on National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) mission statement, the design concept of the project is intended to reach out towards research staff and the public about the study of the ocean , marine life species harvesting, and hurricane preparedness. Therefore, the final form design resembles the soon-to-be developed IKE Dike, a barrier system located between the northeast end of Galveston
island and the southwest end of the Bolivar Peninsula to prevent another potential hurricane disaster.

The Unity Hub serves as a vibrant and inclusive gateway where Houston’s diverse communities converge. This dynamic space celebrates the richness of diversity, creating pathways that foster connection, openness, and shared experiences. At its core, the central archive tower, shaped like a circle, symbolizes the seamless flow between people and cultures that stores and showcases the city’s diverse heritage and connecting the community.
