neighborhood club reimagines new york’s “club” culture through an intimate, culturally responsive sound space. through studies of opacity, visibility, and performance, it proposes a space shaped by configuration and community. the club is guided by warmth, culture, and conversation; becoming both frame and participant in its environment. sound acts as the sole program: a metaphysical rhythm guiding transitions from day to night. glass brick secures the space while allowing it to float, illuminating context and fractalizing its figures. a dialogue unfolds between heavy glass and thin steel, between concealment and clarity. the dining table brings quiet clarity, proportion, and grounding presence. it evokes a sense of ritual and care; an invitation to gather; to pause, to experience space with intention. you grow with your dinning table as a child doing homework on it. you eat, you write, you draw, you pray it embodies love, choreography, nuance.

a summer pavilion in prospect park, brooklyn, this flexible media space drifts between cinema and communion, screening intimate works by emerging lgbtqia+ filmmakers. rather than simply hosting film, it reframes how queer narratives gather; inviting a slower, more sensorial form of sociality. the pavilion visualizes the rainbow as an ephemeral, performative presence shimmering over a reflective monochrome palette, part space, part entity. at its center, a jewel-like opaline form cradled in a steel grate exoskeleton seems to float, scattering light through moments of exposure and restraint. below, a heavy stone brings a monumental quiet that anchors expression. the steel grate, hard and weightless, appearstoascendintotheskywhilefractalizinglightacrossthesite.together,athirdspace is formed. soft, effervescent, and charged with the quiet radicality of being.
