President’s Report Dear Members, I hope that everybody had a good first quarter and is ready for the busy spring reason. I’m pleased to report that we’ve made significant progress on several key initiatives so far this year, which demonstrate our commitment to representing Canadian-owned audio-visual companies. This included refreshing the CAVPA website and materials to reflect our updated mission and three pillars of advocacy, awareness, and engagement. Next was the completion of two comprehensive reports to will benefit our members and inform our strategy going forward. The first was on the Canadian foreign AV worker immigration requirements, to help educate clients and foreign suppliers on the rules and restrictions. Second was an internal Canadian AV marketplace report laying out the current competitive landscape for corporate AV providers and event venues in Canada, which is intended to provide background for our lobbyists, government officials and other stakeholders. Besides these accomplishments, we have some fantastic events coming up over the next few months, where we look forward to seeing you face to face or virtually. These include:
