2024-25 Graduates of the Last Decade Club

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Philadelphia hold a special place in my heart.

As a teenager, the people I encountered at NortheastFrankford Club had a tremendous influence on me. The club wasn’t just a place to play sports. Through its variety of activities, it helped me grow as a person, helped me develop my leadership skills and opened the door for me to develop one of my passions, coaching. As a result, this fund is committed to giving current members of the club the opportunity to take advantage of a Lasallian education and the many benefits that follow.

MR. PARISI HAS BEEN A TEACHER, COACH, MENTOR, AND FRIEND TO COUNTLESS GENERATIONS OF LA SALLE STUDENTS.

Whether in the classroom teaching social studies, world cultures, and psychology, guiding athletes as athletic director and head baseball coach, or offering spiritual support as campus minister, Joe’s dedication and influence have become an integral part of the La Salle experience. His legacy will now endure through the impact of the Joseph Parisi Endowment Fund.

What is the Parisi Fund?

Established in 2022 through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Cuoci, this initiative honors Joe’s legacy by providing financial aid to students in need involved in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia. As a long-time supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs, Joe has guided the organization through many key milestones and believes this partnership will create even greater opportunities for young men from diverse backgrounds to succeed.

What is the GOLD Club?

The Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) Club represents our young alumni who are passionate about supporting La Salle early in their journeys. Centered on participation, we encourage young alums to make a small contribution — even $5, $10, or $20 — as a way to stay connected and show class pride.
