7th grade is always the forgotten grade. They aren't leaving next year like 8th graders and they aren't new students like the 6th graders but they're still part of our school. "I don't really care what grade we're in. We're all Goodrich students," said a 7th grader. Like he said, they may be forgotten but they're just like the rest of us. Though the Goodrich Choir may be small, they still have the voices they need. I asked some of the choir students what they thought of the choir and most of the responses were that the songs were hard, but we can learn them. Mrs. Jones, the conductor, says "We have done great!" What is style to you? Is it what a person hides themself with or the way a person expresses themself? You can tell how a person feels by what they wear. When a person feels happy, they usually dress in bright colors and flashy clothes. If a person dresses in sweatpants and at-shirt, they want to feel comfortable. Style is not only clothes, it can be your make-up, accessories, shoes, and even hats. You may wear your clothes in a certain way. For example, you can tip your hat or wear it backwards. Thats what the dictionary says but this is what I think: Friends are very important especially in Middle School what would you do without them? Life would be so BC>RING!You would have no one to gossip with or pass notes with during class. Your freinds help you get through hard times, help you with your homework, they even help you with the many break-ups with boyfriends and girlfriends. Your real friends are the ones that do n't talk behind your bac, but will h ave your back in all situations.Friends will cheer you up and stay by your side through the years no matter what. SKATEBOARD ING Skateboading is awesome! There are over 30 skaters at our school. Skateboarding is thier life. Usually people skate at a skate park. You can also skate in your driveway, the school, practically anywhere it is legal and has solid ground. People skate whenever they want, rain or shine, but not in snow. Most people skate for fun. Ohers do it for the adrenaline rush or ·as a hobby. Skaters are always trying to out do themselves. That's what makes them unique! By: Tyler Parker

The 8th Graders This year are leaving to go to High School. Some to North Star, others to North East, and the rest to other high schools. New students will come, our brothers, sisters, and cousins. They will pass and fail, make mistakes and learn from them, and will fin~ friends for life. Then eventually, they will become 8th graders and think about their life in middle school, preparing for their lives in high school. Then they will start planning for college and start planning life after college. As time piles up, more people will go through years of life at middle school, starting out as 6th graders, then moving through to 8th graders. Then we go to high school. Every person goes through a cycle sometime in there life. Middle school is a cycle. Each year, when one group moves on, another takes its place. -Eric Terrell -Rachel Yael Lundholm
