Mrs. Hohenfeldt-Spethman and her husband, Matt Spethman, the evening before they were married. Sam Spethman was born April 11, 2002. He has added much love and joy to the Hohenfeldt-Spethman family. The best thing about being a mom, is when she gets home and he wants a big hug

Not only is Mm. Hohenfel dt~pethman very important to us. but to her family as well. Her parents. Ed and Lavonne live hern in Lincoln and her sister Jennifer teaches at Riley. lri October 2000. she married Matt !!pethman. They now h,:1ve a son. !!am. who turned 1 yoar old in April of 2003. In her free time she likes to rnad. exercise. and spend time with her friends and family . For example. every summer she and her husband·s family go on a vacation to Breckinridge. Colorado. Them. they all stay together in a big house for a week. Another summer event she likes to take is an all girls trip with her best girlfriends. Ws obvious that Mm. Hohenfol dt!!pethman is a grnat teacher. ·relative. and friend to have. We arn g·rateful for her presence hern at Goodrich. Team Seven One participates in the annual Luau.

Clubs

At Goo dric h, clubs are definately a key elem ent of our extra curricular activities. There are several clubs tha t students attend this year. Clubs such as F.C.A. and Campus Life continue to be pop ula r at Goo dric h. • However, Opera, Chess, and Red Cross are a few new additions to the selection. There are many others also tha t are just as imp orta nt. Everyone knows tha t clubs are good for ent erta inm ent as well as education. Clubs provide a fun and supervised env iron me nt for teens to spend the ir tme in after school. Teens are less likely to get into trou ble whi le they are participating in Goo dric h clubs. Clubs intr odu ce students to oth er people tha t are interested in the same activities, they are a great way to me et new friends.

FASHION

The dictionary says the definition of family is a father, a mother, and their children, but here at Goodrich the word family means much more that that. Krista DeSelms of ninth grade says, "Someone who will stand behind you, love and cherish you, and someone you can trust. That's what a family member is." Mr. Little believes family is a meaningful, fun and special relationship with the people you are closest too, and they don't judge you if you wear raggedy old clothes.

Family will always be there no matter what, through good times and bad. You can argue, cry or smile and they are ready to help twent y-four hours a day, seven days a week. No matter what the response was, long or short, most believe that family is the people you look out for, and they look out for you.
