of amazing activities. While the pandemic resulted in the lo s Jennifer's "signature" field trips via bus to nearby nature ar students were able to do DNA extraction, dissection and ot e experiments for Chemistry, Zoology and Biology.

The Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools annually honors students and staff from across LPS, as well as one Inspire School award winner. Award recipients are identified by principals from every school, with the focus on selecting an individual who has made a special contribution to the school and the school community.

Brent is a leader with instructional technology tools as well as tech support to students and staff. He presen s professional learning sessions for these ools. Brent leads he LPS Sumer echnology program, providing crea ive STEM opportunities for students In grades 4-9. As Bryan ven ures in o he Project Based Learning world, Brent hos been a leader with lesson plans, oct·vities and ideas for how to teach in a more cross-curricular and engaging way Finally, he is our Careers Opportuni ,es facirtator, arranging Future Fridays career guest speakers and helping s udents wi h college and scholarship applica ions.

This PBL Block Class introduces students to Systems of Oppression are found in our instit structures, norms and behaviors, which have be embedded historically, and currently found in o society. Students explore various concepts: R Implicit Bias; Ecwity; Ecwality; Oppression; Prison Policing; Protests; Policies, etc. This class is abl class in which students can earn credits in Soci Studies, ELA, GTE, and/or Visual Arts

This class is designed to incorporate problem and 'ject based learning, group work and collaborative '"ning, and practices in "Soft Skills" to prepare 1dents for employment and future careers. Bryan sdents are learning to effeciently work in aborative groups. Students are seeing nections to different issues and topics with a us on different curriculum areas. The teachers are oying working together to co-teach this class.
