STEVEN REINEKE conductor
Steven Reineke is one of North America’s leading conductors of popular music and is in his second decade as music director of The New York Pops. He is also principal conductor and artistic advisor of the National Symphony Orchestra and principal pops conductor of PHOTO BY LARRY BUSACCA
both the Houston and Toronto symphonies. On stage, Reineke creates and collaborates with a range of leading artists in hip-hop, R&B, Broadway, television, and rock including Kendrick Lamar, Barry Manilow, Cynthia Erivo, Sutton Foster, and Ben Folds. As a composer, Reineke’s orchestral arrangements and wind ensemble compositions are performed by groups worldwide. Many of his arrangements can be heard on Cincinnati Pops Orchestra recordings.

Tony DeSare performs with infectious joy, wry playfulness, and robust musicality. Named a “Rising Star Male Vocalist” in DownBeat magazine, he has garnered critical and popular acclaim for his concert performances throughout North America and abroad. His Lush Life recording debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Traditional Jazz Chart, and he released Song Diaries Vol. 2 in early 2022. Beyond his critically acclaimed turns as a singer/pianist, DeSare is an award-winning composer. His compositions include a wide range of romantic, humorous, and soulful sounds that can be found on his top-selling recordings alongside commercials and films. Shure Montreux Jazz Festival Voice Competition — Logan has been charting her own course through the worlds of jazz, pop, soul, and funk. Logan has shared the stage with artists across the musical spectrum, from Alabama Shakes to Meghan Trainor, been featured in two PBS specials, toured internationally with Dave Koz and brought her music to legendary stages including Radio City Music Hall, the Sydney Opera House, and the Hollywood Bowl. With multiple Top 10 Billboard Jazz albums, she is considered one of the most dynamic and versatile performers in contemporary jazz. Now, with her newest release, Aubrey Logan and Her Bigger Than Average Band, she offers a sound that is bigger, bolder, and more unforgettable than ever.

Caleb Teicher’s Reverb (aka B-Z-Z-Z), and the Bessie Award–winning production of Chasing Magic. His television credits include Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, the documentaries Black Broadway: A Proud History and Maurice Hines: Bring Them Back, and appearances on Good Morning America, The View, and So You Think You Can Dance. Concert performances include the one-man shows RECENTER and The First Set alongside guest appearances with orchestras, bands, and festivals across North America such as The Hot Sardines, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and Dorrance Dance. Manzari’s short film, Ghost, was an official selection for Fall for Dance North’s 8-Count Short Film Festival 2024. 6

Guests with Pavilion seats who arrive after the start of the concert may be asked to wait outside the Pavilion until the first convenient pause in the music, after which our ushers will help you to your seats.
All Blossom Music Festival events are presented in a smoke-free environment. Smoking or vaping are not allowed anywhere on the grounds or in buildings once you have entered through the ticket gates. A smoking area is available outside the gates in a designated area of Parking Lot A.
LAWN SEATING Guests on the Lawn may bring their own chairs, but guests with high-backed chairs that obstruct others’ views may be asked to relocate to the rear of the Lawn. Rental chairs are available for a fee of $10 per evening. Tents, flags, balloons, or other structures that might obstruct views or present a hazard are not allowed. Open flames are also prohibited.
PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEOGRAPHY & RECORDING Audio recording, photography, and videography are not allowed during performances at Blossom. Photographs and videos can only be taken when the performance is not in progress. As a courtesy to others, please silence all electronic devices prior to the start of the concert.
WEATHER INFORMATION In the event of severe weather, a coordinated campus-wide alert will be issued. Guests and staff will be directed to safety by venue staff and the public address system. FREE TRAM & ADA VAN SERVICE Free tram service between the parking lots and Smith Plaza and the Pavilion is available on a continuous basis before and after each concert. The ADA Van Service can pick up at the Main Gate with service to the Tram Circle.
