Our freshman football camp will focus on building and developing the whole football player, both on and off the field Emphasis will be put on building the proper foundation of fundamentals of a Loyola Academy football player, and then working our way to full installment of the basic offensive, defensive, and special teams playbooks. On top of football, we will spend additional days, every week of camp, in the weight room working on building strength and developing speed & agility with our Strength & Conditioning Coach. You do not need to sign up for the additional Strength & Conditioning Camp. Every day, campers need to bring shorts, t-shirt, proper gym shoes (no crocs, flip-flops, HEYDUDE’s, etc.), and football cleats. In the beginning of the summer, all campers will receive a helmet, shoulder pads, and a locker (to store their equipment). This is not a mandatory camp, but it is highly encouraged that all freshmen who want to play football during the season, attend as many practices as possible to get a leg up on the competition. Our Head Freshman Football Coach, Matt Hohs, will email any new information, changes to the schedule, or updates to the camp throughout the entire summer camp. Additionally, an entire summer camp and fall schedule will be emailed out to everyone who registers for the camp No practice over the June 29 through July 3
