Orlie also shared a great passion for promoting the Lowrider movement. Eight years in the making, Orlie released his magazine in 1991: Orlies Lowriding Magazine. He felt that lowriders were not being represented justly, with understanding and respect. With the help of family members Lupe Coca, Art Coca, and Sandy Coca, the magazine became an instant success, covering shows and events where ever he could travel. His magazine was a people's publication, winning the hearts of thousands. A New Mexico-based publication.
