Our giving spirit over the years has generated more than $3 million in donations through the Louisiana State Combined Charitable Campaign (LA SCCC). Thank you for your past support, and please join us in making the 2026 campaign another success. This year, our campaign goal is to raise $350,000. You make a difference with each designated pledge or donation to an LA SCCC participating charity. You will find a roster of 52 charities listed on pages 5–8 of this guide. Each organization uniquely serves the people of Louisiana, and your designation choices directly guide how proceeds are distributed to these charities.

What is the Louisiana State Combined Charitable Campaign (LA SCCC)? The LA SCCC is the only charitable campaign that enables employees of the State of Louisiana to contribute through payroll deductions, along with direct giving opportunities. There are two convenient ways to provide designated donations: •
Payroll Deduction Contributions — You can make designated contributions through payroll deduction by completing the pledge form (pg. 10) and/or activating your designation through LEO by November 6, 2026.

Direct Contributions — Use the QR Code on the right to make a secure direct donation online or contribute by personal check using the pledge form.

Can I contribute with a check? Yes, for designated pledges, employees can contribute with a check. They should mail their check and completed pledge form (pg. 10) directly to Louisiana Association of United Ways, P.O. Box 2191, Baton Rouge, LA 70821. Do not submit checks for pledges or special events to the coordinators.
Am I required to designate my individual pledge donation?
Yes, employees are required to designate all payroll and one-time contributions to at least one of the charities listed in the 2026 LA SCCC Charity List. (see pages 5 - 8).
When does my payroll donation start?
Payroll pledges made during the 2026 LA SCCC will begin to be deducted in January 2027 and continue through the last pay period in December 2027.
Why isn't my preferred charity on the 2026 list?
Charities are required to apply annually to participate. Eligibility requirements must be met in order to be approved to be included in the annual LA SCCC Charity List. Not all charities apply.
How are funds distributed and used by charities? LAUW distributes donations quarterly according to LA SCCC procedures. Charity proceeds are based on the percentage of funds designated to each charity by individual donors to the LA SCCC. After each campaign, all LA SCCC charities are notified of their expected proceeds, after all state-approved fundraising and administrative expenses are covered. Funds received by charities are used to provide services or benefits to the citizens of Louisiana. Charities do not use proceeds to cover administrative expenses.
