Dear Licence Holder Re: Re-Opening of Lough Foyle Native Oyster Fishery Season 2020/2021 The Lough Foyle oyster fishing season will re-commence on Tuesday 2nd February 2021. Fishing times: 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday) for the 9 remaining weeks of the Regulation Season. The last day of fishing will be Wednesday 31st March 2021. The fishery will be closed in its entirety, as per the Regulations, after fishing on 31st March 2021. The Agency will closely monitor the fishery and fishing activity during the remainder of the season, if any changes are necessary we will notify you as soon as possible.
