What sets us apart
The Company is supported by a robust Long Island supply chain, with many of our sub-tier suppliers and outside processors located within a 10-mile radius of our facility.
The Company’s ability to perform the most critical operations in-house, while integrating a multilevel bill of materials into a fully-assembled and tested product, maximizes the value-added to our customers, and mitigates risk.
The fact that this is accomplished within relatively small, agile, and customer-first framework makes Air Industries Group truly unique.

About Our Company
IEH Corporation
Since 1941, IEH Corporation has been manufacturing superior products for demanding applications. Whether it’s printed circuit board connectors, signal or power contacts, or custom interconnects, our focus is delivering the right connector solution for your application. Our interconnects and contacts employ hyperboloid connector technology, an advanced, proven interface designed specifically for the most stringent requirements and harshest environments.
As a Mil-DTL-55302 certified connector manufacturer, IEH has been supplying the defense and aerospace with our super Hyperboloid connectors and contacts for nearly 6 decades. Our valued long-standing customers include Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrup Grumman and many others.
IEH also has a long and celebrated history of supporting rotary-winged military and commercial aircraft for programs like Apache AH-64, V280 Valor and the SH-60 Seahawk to name a few.
We recently worked with Bell engineers in Texas on Mil-C-39029 contacts for circular connectors. Employing hyperboloid versions of these standard mil-spec contacts improves both the reliability and life of these connectors, as the hyperboloid wire basket eliminates fretting and corrosion, a recurring problem in circular interconnects.
Unique Benefits:
Impervious to Shock & Vibration
The low mass and resulting low inertia of the wires allows them to follow the most extreme excursions of the pin without loss of contact. Tests exceed 300 g’s without discontinuity.
100,000+ Cycle Lifespan
The burnishing action of the wires on the pin surface is nondestructive. Unlike the “plow” and scrape action of common designs, Hyperboloid’s gentle mating action enhances life.
Improved Current Carrying Capacity
The low contact resistance gives a lower °C rise from ambient under load. This feature often allows the user to operate the same size contact under higher load.
VLIF (Very Low Insertion Force)
Common sizes #22 and less average under one ounce per contact.
Low, Low Contact Resistance
The multiplicity of line contact, as opposed to point contact in other designs, provides an excellent interface exhibiting low contact resistance (often less than 1/2 of MIL spec. allowances). This characteristic also provides for a cooler running contact under load.
