Aashiq Dham

BRANCH: #92 CLEARBROOK

SCHOOL: UNVERSITY OF FRASER VALLEY

Aashiq Dham is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of the Fraser Valley. After completing his bachelor's degree, Aashiq would like to attend law school, with aspirations of becoming a Corporate and Immigration Lawyer. Aashiq is very dedicated to his studies, achieving Dean’s Honour Roll while working full-time at Lordco and helping with his family’s business. In the future, Aashiq would like to return to Lordco as part of the Legal and General Counsel. Outside his academic pursuits, Aashiq also makes time for community involvement at his university, joining clubs like the Political Science Student Association and the Social Filter Club.

Alexa Ford

BRANCH: #1 DISTRIBUTION CENTRE SCHOOL: DOUGLAS COLLEGE

Alexa Ford is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management from Douglas College. She has received awards such as Athlete of the Month when she participated in the Women’s Lacrosse Team at Arizona State University. While on the team, she also volunteered her time giving tours and hosting camps for team recruits and their families. Outside her academic pursuits, Alexa is a strong member of her team at Lordco, as she has proven to be driven and versatile in her work. Her goals for the future include building a successful business career, where she can consistently apply her leadership and problem-solving skills.

Brianna Ferguson

Brianna Feguson is currently pursuing a Red Seal Recreation Vehicle Service Technician Certification through Okanagan College. Since 2024, she has completed Level One and Level Two of the program, and has achieved success in her workplace at Traveland Leisure Vehicles Ltd. After completing her Red Seal Certification, she would like to apply her knowledge and experience as a Recreational Vehicle Service Technician, continually growing her skill set.

Katie Kostrzycki

Katie is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Katie has received multiple Certificates of Recognition for her outstanding dedication and commitment to student success as a Peer Mentor for other BSN nursing students, while also serving as Vice President of Communications for the BCIT Student Nursing Association. After finishing her bachelor’s degree, Katie would like to return to school for a master’s degree in nursing, allowing her to grow further in her career as a women’s health professional, specializing in perinatal care. Her long-term vision is to contribute to women’s health through both direct patient care and leadership, ensuring compassionate, evidence-based, and empowering care.evidence-based, and empowering care.

Nisarg Harshadbhai Patel

PARENT: HETALBEN PATEL #27 NEWTON SCHOOL: UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO

Nisarg Harshabhai Patel is currently pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Life Science at the University of Toronto with plans to become a physician specializing in anesthesiology. During his second year of university, he co-founded EarlyMind, a student-led initiative focused on developing AI-based tools for the early diagnosis of neurodivergent conditions in children. He is driven by a passion for healthcare, innovation, and community impact. In the next two years, he would like to work with schools and communities to promote EarlyMind, ensuring that it continues to create a meaningful impact on children’s education and wellbeing. years. He is grateful for the lasting relationships he has built along the way and is proud to have earned MVP honors in multiple tournaments.

Aheed Arif Mohamed

PARENT: ARIF MOHAMED #1 DISTRIBUTION CENTRE SCHOOL: LANGARA COLLEGE

Aheed Arif Mohamed is currently pursuing a Recreation Leadership Diploma at Langara College. Aheed has received both academic and philanthropic awards, including Honour Roll with Distinction and Top Student awards at Centennial Secondary School, as well as an Exceptional Leadership Award from the Kenya National Debate Council. Aheed has completed over 700 hours of volunteer work across Kenya and Canada, demonstrating a consistent dedication to uplifting others. With his diploma, Aheed hopes to create inclusive community programs for youth, families, and those in underresourced neighbourhoods.

Ashley Reid

BRANCH: #89 MAPLE RIDGE

SCHOOL: UNVERSITY OF FRASER VALLEY

Ashley Reid is currently finishing up her Diploma in Social Services and will be applying to the Bachelor of Social Services at the University of the Fraser Valley. During her practicum, Ashley worked at Clubhouse, a place where adults can receive support for a variety of reasons, including mental health struggles. There, she became the co-facilitator of a group called Armchair Travel, where Clubhouse members are given an opportunity to learn about other countries through presentations she creates. Outside her volunteer work, Ashley has also excelled in her career at Lordco, moving from Driver to Counter Person over the past four years. As she looks toward the future, her goal is to continue combining her passions for travel and social work by working in social services all over the world, helping as many people as possible.

PARENT: ALLAN DODDS #57 KAMLOOPS

SCHOOL: UNIVERSITY OF VICTORIA

Eli Dodds is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Victoria. He has extensive community involvement through his various roles as a referee, scorekeeper, and coach at many athletic associations. One of Eli's proudest achievements is his dedication to basketball, and receiving the Elmer Froese Memorial Award, which he worked toward for over five years. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he would like to work in the field of mechanical engineering, which he enjoys for its balance of design and innovation, allowing him to create a product of his own.

Kiegham Broney

BRANCH: #89 MAPLE RIDGE SCHOOL: CHINOOK HELICOPTERS

Kiegham Broney is currently pursuing her Group 1 Multi-Engine Instrument Rating course at Chinook Helicopters . She has ambitions of using her Commercial Pilot Licence to do aerial firefighting, become a pilot in Yellowknife to connect remote communities, and join the Canadian Air Force on a path to the Canadian Space Agency. As she explores various aerial specialties, she remains open-minded about her future path. Kiegham has been noted by her peers and supervisors to be exceptionally driven, including in her work with Lordco and her volunteer work with organizations like the BC Coast 99s Chapter (The Ninety-Nines, Inc., International Organization of Women Pilots), Northern Lights Aero Foundation, and Elevate Aviation. This year, she will also be joining the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (CASAR), which is a Canada-wide volunteer aviation association dedicated to providing air search support services in downed aircraft and humanitarian efforts.

Sanjampreet Kaur

PARENT: HARPREET KAUR #23 CLOVERDALE SCHOOL: UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA

Sanjampreet Kaur is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Sciences at the University of British Columbia. Sanjampreet aspires to become a surgeon, with a particular interest in cardiothoracic surgery. As she explores various medical specialties, she remains open-minded about her future path. Beyond her academic pursuits, Sanjampreet has participated in Operation Smile, serving as President of the club, which raised money and awareness for children with cleft lip and palate. In 2024, she also attended the International Student Leadership Conference, where she met with other like-minded individuals and philanthropists from all over the world.

How to Enroll

1. You will receive a welcome email from bas@canadalife.com to access Canada Life’s enrollment site, GroupNet Flex. Follow the instructions on the email to set up your account and make your selections. You will have 31 days to make your selections after receiving the email, otherwise you risk being a late applicant.

2. If your benefits selections are submitted successfully in GroupNet Flex , your benefits will be active 3 months after receiving your initial welcome email.

3. After your benefits become active, you will be able to manage your benefits and submit claims through MyCanadaLifeatWork.com
