The Lyla Banquette has become a favorite for its sleek silhouette and endless versatility. Now reimagined in a bold striped upholstery, it brings even more personality to the party.

We began with a mood board inspired by mixed metals, bold colors, and nostalgic glamour, then found the perfect backdrop in the Mirabeau Ballroom at Austin Proper. Kelly Wearstler's iconic interiors complemented Rhoda’s creative direction, allowing us to build upon the room's bold carpet and architectural details rather than compete with them.
Every design decision shapes how an event is experienced, and the bar is no exception. Rather than treating it as a utility, we see it as an opportunity to introduce texture and personality. A well-designed bar doesn't just serve drinks. It sets the tone.

Long before guests arrive, the soundtrack is already shaping the room. Music influences tempo, mood, and even the way a space is experienced. We designed this scene with that same rhythm in mind. Curved seating creates movement, layered textures add depth, and the DJ booth becomes part of the visual composition rather than an afterthought. Every element plays its part.
THE UNEXPECTED
A projected pattern, a dramatic wash of light, or an unexpected texture can completely transform a space without changing a single piece of furniture. In this scene, projected animal print added a fun design element to our Barb Bar.
