The Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of National Defence, visits Maritime Forces Pacific (MARPAC) during the return of His Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Winnipeg and HMCS Vancouver from a six-month deployment on Dec. 5. Esquimalt’s Military Family Resource Centre’s team set up welcoming booths to provide military families with comforts such as Molly Maids hot chocolate and entertainment for the children while the ships made their way into Esquimalt Harbour.
